Too many steps!!

Hey Everyone! My FitBit broke a few weeks back and FitBit replaced it, which was amazing!!

However, it "broke" as in for many days it logged me well over 250k steps and i normally have between 7-15k. I wear the fitbit the same everyday. My question is is there any way to delete these steps from my account? it feels odd and defeats the purpose having all these logged miles/awards i did not earn 😞

Thanks everyone!!!

Welcome to our Community @chefmikey95! It's great having you here! Smiley HappyTry restarting your tracker by following the steps provided in this thread and then make sure to do the following through your online Dashboard to delete the extra steps:

  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard.
  2. At the top of the screen click Log > Activity.
  3. Find the data you want to negate by selecting a date range.
  4. In the activity menu, type in "Driving" and enter the duration and start time.
  5. Click Log Activity. Your steps, floors, and calories burned will decrease for the time period you specified.
