my zip shows that my mileage and calories burned much higher Than they actually are. Does any one else have this problem and is there a way to correct this problem

Hi @Dalimo2222 - Do the stats on the Zip display match what is shown on the app?  The first thing I'd try is a simple restart - see below:

I have reset twice now and it still give the wrong information. IE it says I have burned 2700 cals today which is impossible for th exercise I have done.

Thanks @Ozzie65 for suggesting the restart! That usually does the trick. Smiley Happy @Dalimo2222 Thanks for joining us! By what you are describing it made me think that perhaps the side spring may be bent as a result of improper battery insertion or pressure being applied to the back housing.

 

Please verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip tracker. You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing. The process can be followed here. 

 

It's possible that the loose contact between the battery and your Zip, that could be the reason why your tracker is showing wrong calories info. Give that a try and let me know how it goes! Smiley Wink
