Zip synching issue

My zip has been working and synching for a year.

Suddenly now it won't synch. Have changed battery. Restarted zip. Etc etc. Still won't synch.Have good with five and blue tooth turned on.  Has something changed since Jan 2018???

My Zip last sync'd the morning of 1/6/18. It has in the past sync'd thru a dongle to my PC & to my iPhone & iPad. Now none work, so the Zip itself is suspect. It continues to track my activity, but this data stays on the Zip. What can I do to restore this capability? My iPhone bluetooth setting shows several devices not currently connected, but not the FitBit. Should the FitBit Zip show up as a bluetooth device? ...

 

While tapping my Zip I held my finger on it & then saw the dead battery icon. I replace the battery & immediately sync'd with the iPhone. The results show on my PC. Bluetooth settings on the iPhone still do not show the Zip as a paired device, but it does sync & does show full battery in the FitBit app. When it was not syncing it still showed full battery.

I, too, am having problems syncing. Battery is new and I have followed all suggestions mentioned in this forum with no success. Very frustrating!

After battery replacement my Zip now syncs. In the past I would see the battery indicator for my Zip (on the PC or iPhone) gradually decrease. When it would stop syncing the battery would show as very low & I was alerted to change the battery. Last week the battery appeared to be high but no sync. I did not at first suspect the battery, but the battery indicator only updates when the Zip syncs, so a sudden battery drain may have been the cause. The display on the face of the Zip continued to update steps, but after cycling thru the display several times the dead battery icon appeared on the Zip display.
If a fresh battery does not restore sync the website help info suggests removing the battery for at least 10 seconds to force a reset.
