zip not syncing and not tracking steps

I just bought this today. I've had many problems. I had to call tech support to get it working.

 

It worked for a few hours. Now it won't sync. I took the battery out to reset it, and yes it synced, but with a lower number of steps. 

 

Now it won't track my steps after resting and is stuck on the lower number it made up.

 

I may just return this. It's a lot of errors and not working well at all. I'm also a shareholder and this worries me.

Ugg..

Nice to see you here @clearskyline! Thanks for all your patience and troubleshooting with this issue. The restart performed to your Zip before syncing may have been the reason why your steps got lost. However, if you remember the number of steps you performed before restarting you can manually log them

 

And if your Zip is still stuck on, please try restarting as suggested in this post.
