15min intervals on step graph not working

Hi,

There is a feature in the app that I was wondering if it could be reactivated please?

We used to be able to go into the graph of how many steps we have done and tap on the graph and it used to show us what times the steps were done.

You used to be able to click on that graph and a bubble would pop up for the selected one and show you the time and steps.

@TazzieD   There is a moderator response in this thread that says that the change is intentional and not likely to change.  It is marked as the Best Answer, but is not the answer we wanted to get from Fitbit.

This was removed intentionally, god knows why. There is no plan or intention to revert back, despite unanimous feedback from users they want it back.

Thank you @LZeeW and @SebWotan, that seems very ridiculous that they remove something that it seems lots of us use. Why would they not consider to reactivate something that lots of people use?

Best Answer

Thanks for asking this question. I want it back also. And, I’d like an explanation from Fitbit about why they chose to remove this feature. Not that they owe an explanation. But, why?

Best Answer

Some speculate it is in order to make the iOS version less attractive (note this feature is still present on the Android version) since Google know owns Fitbit. Some speculate it is because they are incompetent.

Best Answer

My speculation is instead they are planning to put the feature under Premium. I'm quite sure that next Fitbit update for Android will have such regression because usually iOS come first.

Having said this it is very evident that lately Fitbit likes to implement regressions that have no logical reasons (for example the removal of dashboard sharing button in the app), I can't figure out what's happening.

Omg! Are you serious? Because we have ios and not android?!! If that’s true, then all apple users should promptly drop fitbit and get an Apple Watch instead!!!!!  Why would fitbit want to eliminate functionality and drop customers?  SMDH . I’m pissed off!

I have premium and the additional data on graphs doesn’t work anymore. I have a brand new LUXE (March 2022) and an iphone12 mini w iOS

This makes me MAD!! I loved that feature! And have been super frustrated that I couldn’t get it to work anymore once I got a Luxe to replace my Charge3 this month! It was such a useful tool, if I forgot to log a workout or whatever!
It’s very annoying that they took it away!! Bring it back!!!!!!
