Hello @hemp1956, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. ![]()
I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. Please note that if you have removed the Fitbit app by accident, you can re-install it back. Once you open it, you will need to type in your email address and password associated with your account. When you log in your information will still be available as it gets stored in our servers and not in the phone itself.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
Best AnswerI deleted my account. Now I want to reactivate it and add new device but can't because it keeps telling me that the email is already in use. Help.

Hello @Chardy4282, thanks for joining the conversation, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. ![]()
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. If you have recently deleted your account you will need to wait from 24-72 hours for the system to completely delete your data, then you will be able to create a new account with your email address. If you like to create a new account I would like to suggest you to create it with a new email address, then change it to the one you want after the system has delete the data from the previous account.
You can always change the email address on your account by going to your Personal Settings in the online Dashboard. Keep in mind that when you change the email address on your account you will receive a new verification email to verify the new email address.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I appreciate you have joined us, however I'm not quite getting what you mean with "erased my app", would it be possible for you to elaborate a bit more about this situation? This will be very helpful for us to check this further.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we'll be waiting to hear from you.
