Active minutes not counting correclty.

Suddenly, my active minutes are not showing up on my dashboard. I can see daily active minutes being counted as the green circle closes, but none of my walks or other exercise have been recorded for two weeks and my weekly activity goals no longer show in the tile on my dashboard. I have tried changing the settings, updating apps, logging in and out, removing and re-adding my device. Any suggestions?

Hello @mantelmaiden, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for letting me know about this issue. Our engineers are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. In the meantime, please go to your online Dashboard to verify that your information is showing correctly there. If it is, it's possible the bug is just affecting the way the information is displayed in the app.

I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this situation has caused. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track. Additionally, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply. Smiley Wink

Thanks for the response @MarcoGFitbit! I checked my online dashboard and it seems the tile for active minutes/goals has disappeared altogether. There are no tiles available to add either (I'm told I "have added all tiles" you have available). It looks like I'm not the only one having this problem and I'd love to find a solution. I purchased my Fitbit as a tool for motivation in achieving weekly/daily exercise goals and it has been fun. I sure would hate to lose that particular function. Thanks again!

Hello @mantelmaiden, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply. Smiley Happy

If the active minutes tile is not showing up and you have already tried to add it by editing the Dashboard, I would like to ask you for a screenshot of your app Dashboard and one from your online Dashboard so I can check this further.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting for your reply.

Here is a screen shot from my iPhone. The "Track Exercise" tile used to show an icon with a pentagon tracking my weekly activity goal. Now, if I tap the tile it shows no exercise since August 10. It does seem to be auto-tracking my walks as the little circle in the main tile will turn green and show me the number of active minutes.

Thanks for the help @MarcoGFitbit!

Hello @mantelmaiden, I hope you're doing well, thanks for replying to me with the screenshots. Smiley Happy

When you're exercising, your tracker will record your activity when it's a high intensity one. As it's not tracking correctly, I would like to ask you to restart your tracker a couple of times. Then in the app, tap on the exercise tile, next on the gear icon on the top right corner. Then, tap on each activity under the Auto-recognized activities and disable Auto-recognize, restart your phone, go back to the settings and enable Auto-recognize again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.
