Error Message  - Alta HR isn't syncing because your iPhone's Bluetooth is off.

But i have already turned on Bluetooth and other devices such as Bluetooth Headsets are connected properly, and i have tried reseting Alta HR, reinstalling the App on my phone, restarting the phone, anything didn't work,

Hello @AW93, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

This seems like a very odd situation, have you updated the Fitbit app recently? If so, I would like to suggest you to set up your tracker as a new device to reset the connection between your tracker and your phone. Don't worry, none of the information already in your account will be deleted.

To set up your tracker as a new device:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  4. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  5. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink

I have the exact same issue with the Charge 2.

Can't sync because bluetooth is off and setting up a new device is not possible because the "i agree" button doesn't do anything.

Does the syncing issue is related with Fitbit App’s compatibility with ios
11?

The new app update and the iOS update did not resolve this issue.

Also I cannot update the trackers firmware because I cannot reliably connect my tracker to my phone...

My Alta HR isn't syncing with my iPhone 5S either, even though in the iPhone Bluetooth settings it says that the Alta HR is connected.. The only way I can get it to sync is to turn off Bluetooth on the iPhone, then turn it on again and wait for it to connect. Then the Alta syncs OK. This is extremely annoying and is no doubt the result of an OS update not being compatible.

When is Fitbit going to sort this out?

Hello @Lbekah, thanks for joining the conversation, it's great to have you on board the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. At this moment, if you're receiving a message saying Bluetooth is off in the Fitbit app I would like to suggest you the following:

  1. Swipe up to bring out Control Center.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone through here.
  3. After 15 seconds turn it back on.
  4. Go back to the app and swipe down while on the Dashboard to force a sync to start.
  5. Try this until the message disappears and the sync starts.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
