Alta HR not syncing since latest update.

Hi,

my Alta HR is not syncing since i updated the fitbit app yesterday on the Appstore (iOS).

the little wifi sign on top of the battery icon keeps flashing but nothing happens.

when i pull down the screeen it changes status to "looking..." and then nothing happens.

I tried to log out and in again on the app still the same issue.

 

Please help urgently!

Tech support gave up trying to fix my sync problem & since my flex is out of warranty, they’ve offered me a 25% discount toward buying a new Fitbit. Really? That’s your answer when your app update breaks users’ devices & you can’t fix the problem?

tried all these - not working. So frustrating. I don’t understand some of the instructions you give here - more simple ‘layman’s’ terms please.?

 

UPDATE:

Followed these instructions. Removed my Alta he as per your instruction. Tried to add it back on - just says searching, goes nO further.

Did you recently update your fitbit app software? That was the cause of my prob & there was no fix. I kept using my fitbit & after several wks, it mysteriously just started syncing again 🙄
