Alta and iPhone won't pair

Alta is connected in Bluetooth and shows connected in Fitbit app, when I tap Notifications I get message Bluetooth Pairing Required then when I tap Set up it just keeps searching. I have removed Alta and deleted app and reinstalled both. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Mrsalegator. It's great to have you here. If your Fitbit Alta has been set up to your Fitbit account already please set up call, text and calendar notifications which is an extra step. If you are having difficulties during this process I would recommend performing a restart to your tracker by following @wandamarie's instructions. Let me know how it goes.

I'm having the same problem. My Alta won't pair. I have an iPhone 6. I've never received notifications since I bought my Alta. When I tap on notifications the search wheels thing just keeps going around and then finally says pairing failed. I have followed all the suggestions in here including deleting and reinstalling the app, restarting the Alta and my phone. The call, text, and calendar, have been set up, Bluetooth is on and says it's connected to the Alta. What else can I try.

I contacted help and they were extremely good. They had me connected with everything working quickly.
