App crashes when logging food and weight

I tried to add a custom food in my new ipad air 5th gen, and app crashed. Deleted Fitbit app, reloaded it, and rebooted my ipad and same result-crash.

Today I tried to log weight, and app crashed again. There is no current update showing for fitbit (my ipad always shows my updates and I do it religiously).

I tried to do both functions several times with same results.

I need help figuring this out.

Thank you. I tried both again today with the same result. For the custom food, the adding of the calories is the part where it crashes.
