Hi all.
I have noticed a change in the Fitbit iOS app since the most recent update.
In the graph that illustrates how many steps/miles you do each day I used to be able to see exactly how many miles/steps were done every 15 mins in a day by touching each bar in the graph. This feature for some reason has now disappeared which is a pain as I cannot tell exactly how many steps/miles were walked before and after a walk. To some this many not be much of an issue but when you like to log the exact distance of your walk each day then this is a problem. I guess I could just wear the wristband when I start a walk but would much rather have the feature back. Just wonder if anyone else out there sees this as a problem or is it just me?

YES I really miss this feature. I used it to estimate distances on my walks and I used it to estimate when I fell asleep. Fitbit often makes errors in gauging time of my sleep onset, missing by hours. I used to be able to tell very accurately when I stopped moving.
please restore this important feature!

Yes! So miss those colours. I’m charging my Inspire HR now and wondering if I should bother. That was my main function. If it’s gone I might as well buy an Apple Watch. Hey, maybe I’ll charge up my old pebble. It was a far superior sleep app too….

@Mom2Jacob That response makes no sense. What other apps would be connected to one’s Fitbit account? How would that interfere with the way the app displays our information? Haha.
Also, no one is saying our exercises are missing. Whoever sent you that response, was not listening or is trying to pass blame onto the user when there’s no way it can be user-caused.
Like, was that support rep implying that all of us here just so happened to connect a 3rd-party app to our accounts on the same day the 3.44 update released, and mind you it was the very same app as everyone else so that we all run into the same problem? Lol I don’t have any 3rd-party apps connected to my account. I didn’t even know that was a thing.
It might help for all of us to leave negative reviews on the app in the App Store or Google Play, whichever applies.

I think that’s important to discern: no device is going to be spot-on with any of our information, be it Calories burned, steps taken, heart beats per minute, or sleep stages. But like you said, we use it to estimate. But now we don’t have a number to use as reference. We are having to guess completely blind, because the new graphs are useless.

Yep, totally worthless! You and other contributors on this thread, need to work for Fitbit obviously!

Do you work for Fitbit or just like everyone else, just contribute to topic?

We tried to express our concern in the “right way.” We have done so in FitBit’s closed Community Forum - giving FitBit an opportunity to respond and/or make amends. Unfortunately, FitBit has chosen to do neither. .
As informed FitBit users, we now have an obligation to make this product downgrade known to tracking device consumer market. Such consumers likely will use now outdated user reviews, product evaluations, videos and websites to compare products and customer service. A month ago this dedicated user would have given 5 Stars; now I would be pressed to give 2.
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. ate my next venues regarding this downgrade.

Sad thing is we shouldn’t have to go to the dashboard for something that used to be originally present. 😕

I know and it’s not exactly as easy to use as the app and it’s in different increments as far as I can tell. You can get step and calorie breakdown back to 8/1. Haven’t figured out how to see previous miles, only increments for today and globbed miles for different periods like 7 days

Can actually get earlier than 8/1 for calories and steps

@ClausW Absolutely.
And LiliyaFitbit hasn’t responded in over a week.
This thread is clearly active, but being actively ignored.

I can’t believe I ever even talked a friend in to buying a watch!
Believe me, it’ll never happen again. Try an Apple Watch!

This is so sad. I went to the app store and left a review. I want others to know before they buy, or if they are thinking the problem is just theirs. So disappointing. As someone else said, I previously would have rated it a 5 (though there is room for improvement) but now rated it a 2.

Another reminder for all the new commenters here to go vote for this feature to be restored in the Feature Suggestions forum at this link: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Restore-detail-stats-graphs-in-the-iOS-Fitbit-ap...
More upvotes at that link and for comments here in this thread will hopefully get Fitbit's attention and get this issue resolved!
