Hello users. I have an iPad mini IOS 9.3.5..... And have inherited a Fitbit Zip. I have struggled in vain to down load the the App...via the App Store and also the Fitbitwebsite. per previous posts, I have selected 'for iPhones'. However, the same message appears...I must have IOS 10 or more. the mini will not update to this. the Fitbit website informs me that IOS 9 is fine.... So I am going around in circles. Can any of you knowledgable people assist here.

Welcome to the forums @Rooster1945! I've moved your post to the iOS board and will be glad to assist you with your iOS version to install the Fitbit App inquiry.

Beginning with version 2.82 of the Fitbit app, you must install iOS 10.0 or higher on your iOS device. You can continue to use version 2.81.1 of the Fitbit app to sync your device.

Thank you for visiting the forums.

What Andrea said is the key; go to your web browser and search up Fitbit app 2.81.1
It will give you an option to download that version of the app.

Hello @Arnold6, thanks for joining the conversation, it's great to welcome new members to the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have joined us and provided your insight about this situation. Please note that we do not advise to install older versions of the Fitbit app as they might not work as intended. Additionally, you can check the official post about the app version 2.82 not being available for iOS 9

Thanks for your patience and understanding, have a great day.
