I "fixed" "this problem myself by getting a new phone 🙂 The app works perfectly on the iphone 7!

I truly hope this isn't being treated as a personal info security issue, which, yes, could be fixed by a somewhat less annoying Touch ID, because while I wouldn't really want the world to know that I am basically an overweight slug who rarely hits her step-goal, there would be no serious world-shattering impact to the leak.

Come on!  It's been months.  And I don't intend to up-phone anytime this year, so make it right for ALL iPhones, not just 8 and X!!!

I'm beginning to think this issue isn't even being worked on. Can we have an answer other than "we hope to have this resolved soon"? Because soon has come and gone.

Could you at least add login with Touch ID on IOS to save having to enter all the details?

Do some thing.

I'm having the same problem and it's very annoying.

I wouldn’t be so bad if there was an option to save your login info. But having to enter it each time is very annoying. Last year at this time, I was buying Fitbits for my relatives for Christmas, but this year, I’m not even considering that. The devices and app are so buggy, it’s not something I would want to inflict on someone else.

I'm with you @momice. I've lost confidence.

I am still having this issue as well. I have to re-login at least once every couple of days.

iPhone 7 with iOS and Fitbit both on the latest versions (11.1.1 and 2.42(726) respectively).

Clearly they are not working the problem. Any programmer worth his salt would’ve discover the cause of this bug MONTHS ago.

Fewer platitudes and more ACTION, please.

Don’t just consider them. Take another option. I will.

The way they are handling this problem (actually NOT handling it) is the strongest indicator of how much they don’t care about existing customers. That should be a huge red flag to anyone considering future business with this once-great company.

We want a solution, not more excuses, your app used to work, you broke it, so fix it.

Don't keep telling us to be patient, we have been and our patience is running out.

To add to the thread, I also am in the hundreds to thousands that keep experiencing periodic logout, and have been for months.

It is now over 3 months since the problem was first reported.  I'm on version 2.42 as of 1 day ago and ran into the problem again just now.

The last problem update was about 2 weeks ago, and clearly 2.42 did not fix it.

Glad it is working for someone! Sadly I still have the issue on my iPhone 7 so maybe something else at play - I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, disconnecting other apps that use the health data like Apple Health and MyFitnessPal in case these were the cause (didn’t help) - now considering changing to the Apple Watch
