Update 2017-12-19 - I have gone 3 days without having to login again. That includes 1 reboot of my Android phone. Maybe the issue is really fixed v2.62.1?
Previously -- I am on v 2.62.1 on Android (Nexxus Huawei 6p). The Fitbit app is still acting up for me. Constantly having to log back in. Every day I open the app it acts like I am opening it for the first time.
Best AnswerMy app has finally been working!! It has been two weeks and I am so excited. I didn’t want to say anything until I was sure it would continue working! My Lumo lift has already arrived, but if my Fitbit continues to work - I will return it next week. Make sur your os is updated - I think it is fixed!

Best AnswerSorry, don’t know about the android app. My problem was on an iPhone. Maybe start another thread. Customer support get back to you quickly.
Best AnswerI also re-booted my Charge HR, deleted the app from my iPhone, forgot the device in Bluetooth settings and then re-installed the app and paired my device again. All is now fine.
Best Answermine too - I’ve done the IOS Update and updated the app. Not helped a bean! Any advice on this??
Best AnswerKate. I have updated to the latest IOS and the latest App version and I am getting logged out of the app every time I close it.
What do I need to do to fix this?
I have the newest update to the app and everytime I open the app I have to login. It was fine until I downloaded the newest update. will this issue be resolved?
I am sorry, I am not an expert. I just followed advice from Fitbit customer services after sending them a file from my iPhone and my iOS app is now fine.
Best AnswerThis is happening several times a day. It’s driving me crazy. Have used the app with my Zip for almost a year and rely on it so this is really s problem. Please fix it fitbit

After monitored several days, this issue still happened.
My app version is 2.44.2(739)
Device is Charge 2, Iphone 8.
Best AnswerI finally got smart and got an Apple Watch. It is so nice that my mother got one too. They lost 2 customers in 2 days here. I can’t believe how bad this has gotten and how long it has gone on.
I had the issue where you get kicked out everytime you opened the app for weeks. But 2 weeks ago, I couldn’t log in at all anymore (iPhone 7S). Just got the error message: “Oops, something went wrong. Please try again. Lost connection to background transfer service”.
The I finally managed to log in again this morning to sync for the first time in forever. Opening the app again this afternoon, the error message is back and i can’t log in again.
Have the latest update, deleted and downloaded the app again, changed password (its obviously working here) and tried both rebooting phone and turning off and on the auto clock setting.
Hoping for a fix, this is super frustrating.
Best AnswerMy wife and I have to log in, just not as much as before. Of course I have access through my computer and haven't had to log in for 3 years. Why the difference? I have to log into my phone to use it, why should I have to do it more than once on the phone?
