I've enjoyed controlling my music and podcasts from the watch face. A couple of days ago I found it not working (says not connected). I went into iOS and "forgot" the Blaze connection. Now I find that FitBit app connects and pulls data but Blaze still not showing up in the Bluetooth "My Devices" list and the music controls still show "not connected". So somehow it IS connected by "half-broken". I've powered the Blaze on and off a few times as well as my iPhone 7+ and neither cure it. I went to Settings on the watch and found Blue Tooth Classic and flipped that on. I now see Bluetooth (Classic) in my Blue Tooth Devices list and everything works. Now I notice my battery life is much shorter.
I'd like to get it back to the way it was working rather than have to manage my battery more often. By the way, I have had this watch and wear it every day for sleep tracking, steps, heart rate and thousands of workouts and bike rides and have never had a single problem with any feature. It has been an amazing addition to my constant curiosity and "need to know". Thanks if anybody has any ideas.

@G-Squared, welcome! It's great to see you around!
Let me help you with your Blaze's music control and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I would start by refreshing the link between your Blaze and your phone by doing the following:
After this setup the music control feature again. Also check these suggestions to improve your device's battery life.
Let me know how it goes.
