Hello, since I upgraded my Fitbit app on my iphone I'm unable to see the menu options for "back" and "options" in the top of the menu bar in challenges.
The buttons are usable, just not visible.
I found this thread, that looked promising, but there was no resolution and didn't quite fit my issue: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/iOS-App/Cannot-see-save-option-in-ios10/m-p/1454971?nobounce
Picture of the top of the challenge screen
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Gary

Best AnswerThe issue is caused by having "button shapes" enabled in general settings/accessibility. If you switch that off the Options and back buttons re-appear.

Hello @gazoco, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. ![]()
This seems like a very odd situation but it's possible a glitch in the app is preventing the buttons to show up, in which case I would like to suggest you to log out from the Fitbit app, restart your phone and log back in. If this doesn't resolve the issue, please follow these instructions to upload pictures in your next reply so I can check this further.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply. ![]()
Hi, thanks but still the same.
I've even tried uninstalling the app restarting and reinstalling to no avail

Hello @gazoco, I hope you're doing well. ![]()
One question, have you increased the size of the text font on your messages? That might have caused the font on the button to move out of the way if the size is bigger that its hitbox.
Please go to your phone Settings > General > Accessibility and check if Large Accessibility Sizes is disabled and if the text size is set to a larger one on the slider.
Thanks for your patience, I'll be waiting for your reply. ![]()

Best AnswerThat's it! Fixed it thanks, but this isn't a setting I've turned on purposefully, nor do I know the full impact of turning it off......yet lol
Thanks again!

Of course, it's a bug in the Fitbit app that still needs fixing as you should not have to disable an accessibility function in iOS to make the Fitbit app work. Please can moderators pass this on to the developers for a fix in the next release.
For info...... What enabling button shapes does is make it clearer by bringing more obvious button shapes and tap targets back to iOS by using shading and underlining of buttons and actionable text elements. This was there by default in early iOS versions but is now optional, hence the setting in Accessibility.

If I turn the button shapes option back on, the menu's stay displayed within fitbit even after a reboot.
So the fix is to turn button shapes off, reboot, check the menu's display then turn the option back on so that the iOS menus display properly, might need another reboot at this point.
Best AnswerThanks. This solution worked for me. I'm using iPhone 6 Plus and iOS version 10.3.3, with latest version of the fitbit app installed.
Best AnswerI no longer even have a goal day, challenges page or any buttons anywhere. I no longer even see my friend list. I am perplexed.
