I am trying to receive calls.

The call comes up on both my Fitbit Versa 2 & my iPhone 6s Plus, running the latest updates.
I can answer the call, but neither person can hear each other.
There is no ‘earpiece’ option to select on my iPhone for the call to come through there once answered

Hello again @Krystalwadd98

My understanding, while researching it for you, was that ear pieces or headphones are needed. (Which I just learned myself)  I wish I had a solid answer as to WHY that is but sadly I don’t. I currently have an Alta HR which is no way as fancy as the Versa 2 that you have.  I did get a Versa 2 that’s arriving on the 6th of January so I’ll have better insight then. I do apologize that I don’t have a proper answer for you.

Although I do hope I was able to help even if it was in a small way.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community @Krystalwadd98

Though the Versa 2 does have a microphone, you cannot place or answer calls. Non iOS users can respond to messages with their voice on Android, and all users can activate the microphone to summon Alexa.

😃 I hope that answers your question. Please let me know.

Hi, I am not sure if I made myself clear In my post ..

I am not trying to answer the call on my versa, I’m trying to answer it on my iPhone 6s Plus, but it’s connecting through my watch & therefore I cannot talk to people on my phone. I can hear them, but they cannot hear me, so no, that did not help.

Hello again @Krystalwadd98

Sorry for the confusion. If you have an iPhone, you can answer the phone using the Versa 2, but the speaking and listening will all have to be done on the phone or through a headset connected to the phone.

I did a bit of digging around and found this thread here that I think you will find useful: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Smartwatches/Can-I-answer-calls-and-texts-from-the-Versa/td-p/...

And this thread as well: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Smartwatches/Make-take-Phone-Calls/td-p/2616810

😃 Hopefully this threads will provide you answers.

I have just read through the threads, they’re saying to use headphones or an ear piece to talk, I will give that a try tomorrow

but can I ask why ? Or if there is a way to stop that ?

I will give the headphones a go tomorrow & let you know if that works for when your versa arrives

I’m hoping it’s just a glitch like the not receiving texts scenario that’s happening & should be sorted soon

thank you for your help
