Calories left don't match in the Fitbit app

Hi there!

I always put my food intake each day. Today, I noticed that it’s saying I’m at my limit with 495 calories for the day with almost 1300 burned at 12pm. I have deleted and re added the app. I also deleted and input all my food over again with no fix. Can someone help me please? My app says I have 800 calories left for the day but my food journal says I’m at the limit

Hello community! My Cals left for the day on my dashboard and my cals left for the day on my food tracker are not matching anymore after I updated the latest version. It’s frustrating to know which is accurate and if I am actually going over or not. I deleted the app, restarted my phone and then installed the app again and nothing has resolved. Anyone else having this issue?

I also have this issue, and so does my daughter - in the iOS app (up to date and current on an iPhone 11 also up to date and current ) My Cals left for the day on my dashboard and my cals left for the day on my food tracker are not matching anymore

this is a serious concern for anyone using the food log as a weight loss tool - as it is difficult to know what numbers to trust, the browser calculators match,

these photos show the dashboard figure and the log figure on the iPhone app — they dont match in terms of what is left for the day.  639 does not equal 1230 - which do i trust?

They should match. 3F777CD7-A297-4774-BA50-F6CBC77DC57D.jpeg777DC48C-3369-4180-BE84-09FD03147D52.jpeg

The app says I'm 544 calories over (inside the logging section for food). Widget on the app says I'm 28 calories over. And my Versa shows no calories logged at all for today. Even the desktop dashboard doesn't tell me how many calories over/under I am.

The primary reason I continue to use Fitbit over Apple watch is for the app!!!! If the app is no longer going to aid my calorie reduction when I need to drop pounds, there is no reason for me to continue owning a Fitbit. I've loved my Versa, but I don't expect it to last forever and will likely need replacing in the near future. If this app issue is not resolved, my next purchase will be an Apple watch.

I totally agree. This is why I use Fitbit too. We may as well have an Apple Watch now. 🙄

So, the question is

When will it be fixed?

We dont need to be thanked for reporting the issue and we dont need to be appreciated for feeding it back.  Please advise when this will be resolved - its VERY important that the calorie and food logging is accurate.  Are you going to refund us if this is nor resolved - its a main feature of the fitbit for me, and t would appear many others

Can we have an update please

This is fundamental functionality of the fitbit nd app - without it the value of the device is greatly diminished.  Are you offering refunds?

This is happening to me as well!  Although my calorie intake is way less than my calorie allowance, it’s telling me I’m “over target”

I’ve had 60 calories total today. My calorie allowance is obviously over 60…plus I’ve walked 3 miles yet… it’s saying I’m over target.

@LiliyaFitbit It’s September now and I still can’t find a resolution to this issue. Has it been fixed and if so how do I update mine? I have deleted and reinstalled the fitbit app so that it is current but that hasn’t helped.

For now, which are the accurate numbers? The dashboard or the food log?

Thank you

Yep I have a IPhone 13Pro and have been dealing with this with my Fitbit Charge 4 for a couple of weeks now/ nothing fixes it- adding, removing, rebooting, cache clearing etc.

They need to fix this or my new Charge 5 today is going back for a Awatch 7! : ( it’s still doing it…

This has been happening for so long. The food log section of the app is so glitchy. I’ve lost track of all the threads about food logging and it seems so have the moderators. No responses any more and it’s still not fixed.

Yeah. This is really getting old. I’ve been going by the calories that show on the dashboard. This needs to get fixed soon though, or I’m going to buy an apple product. Sad but true.
