Hi,
Hope someone can advise me here. Trying to download Fitbit for new Alta 2 HR. The phone is iPhone 6S with iOS 11.2.1. There is more than 30GB storage available.
When I go to the apps store I can find the Fitbit app and press the 'Get' icon with no problem. Then I get the 'waiting' icon (spinning circle) for a second or two and then the 'Get' icon reappears. No download ever starts.
I have signed out my Apple ID and signed back in several times. I have also done several total power-off shutdowns and have had no success. I can download other apps as normal with no problems. This phone has never had the Fitbit app previously installed.
Has anyone else seen a problem like this? Any suggested actions? Thanks very much.

Thanks for the reply, Riley. I had tried that solution many times yesterday but when I just tried it again it worked this time. You must be good luck.

I had the same problem yesterday. I have the exact same phone and software. I just had to hard restart my phone (holding down the power button and the home button until the phone shuts off) and then I was able to download the app.
