I can only see one line of text in the challenges—the rest of the text is cut off. This is only iOS as the Apple users are having the same problem but not the Android users. I don’t see a post for this and it’s been going on for a couple of weeks. I’ve closed and opened the app, reinstalled, rebooted my phone. Is this problem being worked on?

Mine is even getting worse. Today I was unable to see who won a badge or the name of a badge !!! It just irritates me so because I’m very vocal in challenges I’m in and love to cheer folks on and congratulate as needed. But so much better if you know who you’re talking to. !!

Please do. May get more action that way
Update:
It’s supposedly being worked on. I did mention in my chat with Fitbit support that it would be nice if someone from support would respond to this issue in the community. Doubt that will happen though

Best AnswerThe longer the user name for each participant, the more that is truncated from what I have seen. Also the app was never finished to allow portrait mode so the wider format can't act as a workaround either.
It seems that this is more like more like a political response. If it isn't a public incident, then lets just ignore it until it is.... This is not the way to better customer satisfaction. I cannot believe it takes this much complaining to get something silly like this fixed that they broke with an update.
I'm wondering if there are any other avenues to get this noticed for Fitbit to know its gone on too long and needs fix? I have read where a few have reached out to support and tweeted @Fitbit but does anybody have any other ideas. This is crazy to let something like this go on what seems like forever without a fix.
It does not appear they have any intention whatsoever of fixing this. More than a year and only excuses from development.
The Community seems like it is mostly a waste of time. Nice customers here, but no real help you can't get from a Google search most of the time. They do sometimes have useful information, but mostly it seems only useful to the uninformed. If you know nothing about technology, apps, fitness sensors in general it can be a nice place to visit once in a while.
Best AnswerI am not sure which is more frustrating. The lack of caring about the product quality and fixing of the bugs, or the bugs themselves. We have similar issues with the hardware, especially the various resin/rubber straps. They always break eventually, but replacing a couple of them and shipping can cost nearly as much as the FitBit sensors. The same with the large number of proprietary shaped chargers for every device and non replaceable batteries. Much of this is wastefully designed even though I like the hardware function in general.
Fitness is great, but we do not need to waste so much getting fit... Makeup the extra revenue with value add features and functions we can use and enjoy instead of just wasting money on repairs or replacements.
