Fitbit charge 2 will not sync. iOS 12 installed just today thinking it was that. Have restarted iPhone 6s, have disconnected Bluetooth numerous times, deleted device (and now won’t “find” my device). Just started all of a sudden. Help please!

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience. At this moment I would like to ask you for a list of the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. This will be very helpful for me to check this further and determine what we should do next.

@canela10, please note that the Fitbit app has not been removed from the Apple Store, if you're not able to locate it on your iPad, once you access the App Store, change it from iPad Store to iPhone Store.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting to hear from you.

Did that too, still doesn't work. When this many people are complaining about not being able to sync it's on your end not ours

Hello @clhosier, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience. Thanks for letting me know you've already tried the troubleshooting steps listed on my post. Now, as your Charge 2 is still unable to sync, my best recommendation would be setting up your Charge 2 as a new device to reset the connection between the tracker and your phone. Don't worry, none of the information already stored in your account will be deleted.

Now, to set up your Charge 2 as a new device:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  4. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
  5. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Nothing works.
1. Removed fitbit app from all devices.

2. Before removing, I made sure that "forget device" is clicked on settings if the device is connected through bluetooth.

3. downloaded new fitbit app from appstores.

4. logged into the app and now it is not able to find any devices.

Any ideas how to fix it.

Hello @sam5412, thanks for joining the conversation, it's always great to welcome new members to the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have already tried the troubleshooting steps provided earlier. At this moment I would like to suggest you to restart your Charge 2, then leave it plugged in and charging. After that, toggle Bluetooth off/on and toggle WiFi off/on. After that, make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around and try to set up your Charge 2 once again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome.
