The Charge 2 has difficulty registering steps I take when I'm walking or jogging with a stroller. That makes sense since my hands are in a strange position and the stroller absorbs a lot of the road vibrations, but sometimes it isn't an issue.
I have tried tracking a walk, and that seemed to help for a week, but just today I walked 3.37 miles and it says I took 1,935 steps. Excuse me? I feel like if distance is calculated by stride length, steps should be able to be calculated based on distance as a backup. There should be a workout option for people walking with strollers, as I am sure parents make up a large percentage of Fitbit customers.
I dont need exact step counting, but less ~6500 steps is a deal breaker.

Hello @Migizmo, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board!
Fitbit trackers count steps while you're walking based on the natural movement of your arms when you're taking steps. If you're doing something like pushing a stroller or shopping cart, your wrist-based tracker will count your steps but the total may be slightly lower than usual. However if the wrist where you have the tracker is completely static during the activity, it might not count the steps during that activity.
I understand your concern about the amount of steps you're getting when walking with a stroller, which is why I went ahead and found a suggested idea by @fudge22 to implement a stroller mode in a future update. Feel free to vote for it or add your comment to show your support, this is the best place to make your voice heard.
I hope this information had been useful, feel free to reply if you need anything else!
