Charge 3 disconnecting from Bluetooth constantly.

Hi. I bought my Charge 3 less than a week ago. Each morning I need to “forget this device” from my iPhone 6s Bluetooth setting then re-pair as overnight it loses sync. My phone is charging but in same room as Fitbit. My previous fitness band costing around £30 never did this.  I’m so disappointed that I think I’m going to have to return device for a refund. Is this a faulty device ? Can I resolve this issue?  Thanks for reading .

Yes it’s a pain

I gave up chasing Fitbit and spent £10 on a cheap step counter watch they served the purpose
I’m happier now my iOS 11 phone works with my Charge but I get worried about phone updates now and always check the community for news in case the upgrade breaks it!!!!

Precisely the same set up and same issues. I love the sleep and steps monitoring aspects and being able to connect it to work outs on coach and premium .. also having the aria - all this keeps me in the Fitbit eco system. I’d pay more for more reliability.  Last time my Fitbit packed it in I took it off and forgot about it for a year. At that stage with this charge3

I gave up and returned it, it was only 2 1/2 months old. I bought a Versa 2. Wish me luck. I really liked the charge 3.

Hey how’re you doing with the versa 2?  I finally took my charge 3 off as the  reset/sync thing was so onerous I just left it on the charger.  So sad.

So far so good. I really like the screen. You can see it in the bright sunlight. Also the Alexa feature is pretty cool. I set some timers. It’s also easy to set an exercise. I think I will be happy with it if it stays synced that is.

I feel my fitbit on an I[hone started dpoing this after the last IOS update to version 13.4.1  before this update I was not experiencing this issue.  My phone is set to update app automatically.  Like others I have to "forget device" and re-install new device every morning.  I have noticed it disconnects and stops recording data aboout 11 pm two n ights in a row now

So far I see no fix had my charge 3 for year or so never had a issue received a iPhoneX 13.5 get sw and worked fine then seems the Fitbit app update month ago and stated loosing connection slow at first now daily every morning have to reboot or forget Fitbit and reconnect tried all the Suggestions from the beginning of this tread  only thing now is trying updating to ver13.6 iOS then deleting the Fitbit app and reinstalling

pisses me off that Fitbit has not fixed this since way back in 2019 it’s like the virus keeps coming back to infect us and and they just keep having the same answer

If this doesn’t work switching to Garmin or apple

I'm beginning to think that.  I have the premium services but it is so onerous to deal with this disconnect issue and a time waster reading stuff from online bot non-answers.  If I sound bitter, I am because Fitbit is being totally amateur hour here, but I love their metrics and tracking.  This should be an easy thing to fix for crying out loud.   Husband having same problem with his Xmas present of the Ionic, which I thought should work for at least a friggin year.
