Charge 3 not syncing with Fitbit app.

The app cant find my fitbit charge 3, Already tried restarting app, restarting phone. Now I let my phone forget the device and read that storting “new” device was a suggestion, But then the app still canot find the device. I only got it for 1 day.

I love the Fitbit.....when it works. I also like to track sleep cycles-I
have dysrythmia and hoping the sleep data will help my doctors fix this

I appreciate you have already tried the troubleshooting steps described on this thread when it comes to Sleep Stages. At this moment, I would like to ask you to restart your Charge 3, then clean the back of it before going to bed with a soft, dry piece of cloth and wear it a bit upper on your arm as you normally do, making sure it's well secured but not too tight. 

 

Please give this a try and let us know the outcome.

Sending this junk back to the store, right in time before the 30th day period passed.

 

It was working fine until I turned off the Bluetooth on my phone.

Then it just didn't connect anymore. In the meantime I've tried everything. Restart. Removed the tracker from the app and tried to resynch but nothing worked. Now it just stays stuck in 'connecting' when I try to pair.

Syncing shouldn't be this hard.

Not worth the 150$ I paid for this :s

That also happened to me, I had to reset back to factory and now I sync
about 4x/day because i'm scared it will happen again. It worked for 3
weeks, then not for 3wks now again working for 3 wks so fingers crossed.
They really need to look into this issue, I thought posting the problem
would make them want to fix the issue all together, but the company doesn't
seem too concerned

I don’t have ALL DAY SYNC activated.  I sync mine about 4 times a day too.  I think that normal.

I don't know what to do anymore i had an alta hr for 3 years and i upgraded it for the charge 3 this year and i am now a full on active personne but every 3 day or so my fitbit wont sinc and i have to restart it every time i dont alway bring my charger with me to do so last week i charge her full and went on a rock climbing trip and i didnt look at my activity level and what she recognize till the next day to realise she didn't sinc the day before ☹ so everything got lost

I have found that if your C3 doesn’t sync to try again later and it will. Therefore you don’t have to restart.

I am using an iPhone 8+ as my device. Even though trying again later to sync might be helpful, we shouldn’t have to resort to this. I really like my C3. Hope this helps you!

After doing everything that MarcoGFitbit suggested my Charge 3 still will not sync to the app.  Any other suggestions.  I have only owned my Charge 3 for 2 months & worked fin until about 2 weeks ago.

Something that works is if it doesn’t sync try again in a few hours. When you try again you may see that it has synced (and just didn’t display it). Or the syncing process may start now. I have an iPhone 8+ and have ALL DAY SYNC off.

Mine will try to sync and won't find my charge 3 that's laying on top of
the phone but will find the 3 Alta's of coworkers in the building so I know
it's not my phone or my phone bluetooth. There's something wrong w the
charge 3. They should recall them once they fix the problem but it does not
seem they are interested in looking into this problem It's disappointing.

Wipe the data, reset back to factory and start all over. Then sync at least
4x per day or it may/will malfunction again

Hi,

Yes... I had the same problem. And what I didn't notice before.. My clock
was not running on the right time. Almost 15 minutes behind. I couldn't fix
it. One after another new problems came.
My solotion after 3 days looking to resolve the problems was taking a new
one. Now I cross my fingers that with this one I will have no problems.

Its a big investment for me as a single mom of 2 teens i am so sad that my new c3 wont work properly i dont think i'll be able to get anoter one that one was my new one 😞

My c3 is on always sincing... and i did this twice... nothing changed

Same here but she started acting up a week after i got it at xmast.... 😟

Hi,

Than go back to the store.
If it is just new, they have to send it to fitbit for reparation or give
you a new one. If you have still the bill. It is under garantie.

Me too kept losing time I was about to send it back when I decided to try
to wipe ALL the data and start over, then it started to work but yeah I'm
just waiting for it to act up again.
