Charge 4 will not sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Charge 4 started not syncing with my iPhone or iPad last week.  I’ve restarted it several times and followed the troubleshooting recommended on FitBit.com to no avail.  I’ve even tried removing the device from FitBit app and it cannot find it to add it again.  I was able to successfully add my Alta HR without problems just yesterday.

I have the same. Found out that my charge 4 had stopped syncing at 3am one day last week. Have deleted the app. Restarted my iPhone and charge 4 but will not sync. When setting up it will find my charge, it gives me a pin. I put the pin in my phone and it comes up with a code1 error.  ( Devicebit.pairvalidatorError error. )

Anyone know what to do.

Removing a non syncing fitbit from your account will never fix a sync issue, however it will dig a deeper hole to climb out of.

Try force stopping the Fitbit app

Clear the Fitbit app cache or the phones cache.

Shutdown phone.

Still failing? Clear the Fitbit app's data.

Which ever step above fixed the sync, try that one first next time.

Thanks for the reply.

Uninstalled, reinstalled both phone and charge 4.

And started it as new.

Works fine now.

Again, it has gone back to not syncing with my iPhone. Twice now I have wiped all trace on my phone, rebooted and cleared the data on the charge 4.

i have noticed in the last 7days that there has Ben two updates for the Fitbit app. Could this be any part of the problem??

Chris.

Normally updates make things work better.

Since the heading does not mention ios and no ios users have spotted this thread. It may better to move this post to the iOS board. This way it will get the attention of ios users

Have you looked at the help docs?
