I am trying to consent to the temperature and symptom logging, but it gets stuck after I click “I agree”. Please help!

That is happening to everyone who has that option.  I think it is still a work in progress, perhaps released sooner than meant to be.  I think we just have to wait a bit.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi @Hollyday42 and @ItsPozzable. Welcome to the Community Forums. @JohnnyRow, thanks for your big help!

@Hollyday42 and @ItsPozzable, thanks for bringing this to my attention. While some members are experiencing issues when accessing to this feature, could you please check if the Fitbit app is updated? If you have the latest version, try rebooting your phone and then open the Fitbit app to log a temperature and get the "I agree" button working correctly.

If by any chance the issue persists, please provide me with the model and the OS/software version of your phone so I can look into this.

I'll be around, keep me posted.

Hi, it started working for me too. I was
finally able to agree and can log temperatures. I do notice a new big though. If you click on the plus to add a temperature, but then choose to not do it, when you hit the back arrow in the upper left corner, you cant get out of the screen. You then have to force quit the app (which then throws text message notifications off)
Basically the back arrow doesn’t work.

I have been logging my temperature since July 1 but nothing is being graphed.

Hi @Hollyday42, @ItsPozzable and @Rge. It's nice to see you here again.

@Hollyday42, thanks for keeping me updated and I'm glad that the Temperature and Symptom tile is working well.

@ItsPozzable, thanks for bringing this to my attention, as well for trying to force quit the Fitbit app. It's odd that the back arrow isn't working. Have you tried logging out from the Fitbit app, reboot your phone and log back in? If not, please give it a try and keep me posted.

@Rge, thanks for letting me know that your details aren't being graphed. Let me share that this was escalated to our team so they can further investigate and get it fixed. In the meantime, make sure to keep the Fitbit app updated and continue logging your details as you've been doing.

I'll be around if you have another question.

@LizzyFitbit I am having an issue being able to use this feature at all. The button at the bottom that says "Start Logging Daily" doesn't do anything when I push it. Nothing opens. I completed the survey, I made sure the app was updated, I restarted my phone, I've force stopped the app... I've tried everything with no luck! Is this feature now obsolete?

Thank you for your help.

@LizzyFitbit Nevermind! I found it elsewhere in the app!

Do you remember where you found it? I can't enable logging on mine, either, and I would love to know the workaround that you found!

Sure! On your dashboard page in the app (the main page with your info that shows up when you open the app), there is a discover button. Go to that, then go to the bottom where it says "Health and Fitness Stats." There are boxes that you can add to your dashboard, and the temperature and symptom box is located there. Please note that I had to update my app before this showed up.

Hope this helps!

Ah! I found it! For anyone who is having the same issue, here is the workaround:

  • Open the Fitbit app.
  • Tap "Discover" at the bottom.
  • Scroll to the bottom. Tap on "Health & Fitness Stats."
  • Tap "Temperature and Symptoms."
  • Click add.
  • That's it!
