Dashboard stuck in edit mode

I cannot get my dashboard out of edit mode on the app. My only option to view my daily totals appears when I click edit in the top left corner, and I cannot view my weekly totals at all because I'm stuck in edit mode. Every time I try to view any option it gives me a check mark like I am selecting this option to edit. Help!

Welcome to the forums @jsongs20! This is an odd situation, are you getting edit mode as soon as you enter the Fitbit App? If you are, please force quit your app and restart your phone.

Do you have the option at the top left to tap on "Done"? If you see it, please tap on it to see if you get the regular menu back.

I have tried to tap Done in Edit mode, have closed the app, signed back in, and shut down my phone as well. Nothing has worked so far.

Hi @jsongs20,

For clarification, have you also tried force quitting and reopening the Fitbit App?

You can force quit the Fitbit App by: rapidly double tapping your iOS home button > swipe left until you see a preview of the Fitbit iOS App > swipe up on the preview to force close, and the reopen the app.

Also, what iOS version are you using on your iOS device (ie iOS 8, iOS 9.2.1, etc)?

Keep me posted!

@jsongs20 Since restarting your phone, force quitting the App, and logging out of the App all seem to be ineffective for some reason, I'd recommend uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit App as a last resort.

This should get you back on track, but let me know either way.

This worked. But that problem should be reviewed in the app for sure

Thank you for the update, @Babyelizabeth.

I appreciate your efforts and the additional details. The app dashboard should be back to normal after you tap "Done" after editing. If you continue experiencing difficulties, please provide a screenshot, if possible. I will be glad to investigate further. You can follow these steps to attach a screenshot to your next reply: How To: Add An Image To Your Post.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
