Deficit calories tile missing in app.

I have an iPhone7 and my app does not show the ‘calories in vs calories out’ tile in the app.  I’ve inquired about this last year with no help and am now revisiting the issue to see if the Fitbit techs have figured it out.  Below is a screen shot of my dashboard via the Fitbit website...I have circled in my photo below the tile I would like to add to my iPhone app.  Please provide step by step directions.

I don't see the option to add this title to the android app.

And it is not available on the iOS app, either. However...

If you press on the food tile, the one with the knife and fork on it and the values of for calories in and calories left, you will get the food page which will present you with a bar chart with the same information. No gauge, but you will get the blue/green/red that you are used to seeing.

Seems like this issue has been going on since 2014. I've given up using FitBit to log calories and calculate deficit in my head instead. Essentially I am only using FitBit to track steps which seems a shocking waste of money. When this fitbit dies, I wont be buying a new one!

I just upgraded my versa this morning. After about 15 minutes, I swiped up on the "Today" section. Scroll all the way to the bottom to find "settings" this will give you the option to add 7 tracks to your today section. Food is one of them.  After selecting it hit the back (left) button. The food tile appears letting you know calories left and if you are in the zone. Hope this helps.

@jvnv132 this thread is about the dashboard on the Fitbit app, not the today's screen on the Versa..

Is this on an iPhone? I’m not sure where you mean when you say “today”.

@Melissa7th please read @jvnv132 post again.

He updated his Versa and now he sees that the today screen is customizable.

The today screen is referring to is found on the Versa tracker, not the iOS app.

On the Fitbit app, this is the today screen.Screenshot_20190108-134310_Fitbit.jpg

As @MrMarv has posted the tile that you are looking for is not available on the mobile app.

when you swipe up on your versa watch it brings up the "today" section with all your stats (steps, stairs, etc). you must upgrade from your iphone app first before you can add the food tile to your Versa.

Melissa7th, from the main screen of your Versa move one finger from the
middle bottom of the screen to the top. this is the swipe up motion on the
Versa.
this will bring up the fitbit logo and the word "today".
All you stats tiles should be showing.
Scroll all the way to the bottom until you find the word "settings" and
click it
this will give you the option to add food, water, sleep, etc as one of your
tiles on today.

Of course, if you do not have food as an option then you will to do the
most recent update.
hope this helps

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around. It's great to see you too @Rich_Laue, thanks for all your help.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums. Please note that even when the calorie deficit tile is not available in the Fitbit app, you can tap on the Food tile and you will be able to see the calorie deficit for that specific day in here. You will be able to see information from others days as well.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.
