Hello, wondering if you can help. My charge 5 stopped tracking kms. It records step counts but kms do not appear. Anything I should do to have this back to normal? Thanks, Sara

I'm so glad I'm not the only one having this problem. This has been driving me nuts for the last week, please keep us posted.
Same here!!
Best AnswerSame issue here. Won't track pace or distance but still tracks steps. GPS appears to be working. Just started within the last week.
Best AnswerThis just happened to me two days ago as well. I was out camping with bad service so I wondered if it was a cell/data issue but I see that many others have had this come up too.
I restarted the device several times as well as my phone and nothing seems to have fixed it.
Best AnswerSo glad to find I'm.not the only one with this issue! My Versa4 stopped recording distance over a week ago - I did almost 29k of steps but had no distance?! The distance works if I GPS a specific exercise but not when I leave it to auto recognise my walks. I've done a factory reset but still no joy.
Best AnswerI’ve found distance works in tracked activities but it’s takes a while for the GPS to engage and the pace keeps flicking between 0:00 and some large number until it fully locks in. During that “locking in” time it also isn’t tracking distance accurately. I walked 3+ miles last night and it recorded 2.25 due to tree cover/bad cell service.

Best AnswerOkay so as some others have pointed out, there is a fix. Go to activity settings and manually set your walking stride length. It should be functioning fine for running (which is why it sometimes does track distance) but the software for auto-detecting walking strides isn’t working. This instantly worked for me.
Best AnswerI tried this a few times and after ten minutes it stopped working again even with auto stride turned off.
Best AnswerI did try this a few times and after about ten minutes it just stopped working again. I turned off the auto stride and unfortunately it still doesn't work.
Best AnswerHi Juan, has this been fixed yet? Doing some of these suggestions on here have not helped my Fitbit and it’s still tracking 0’s. I’m doing a 1600 km challenge right now and training for a half marathon. It’s kinda of crap timing for this to happen. Any luck?
Best AnswerFollowing up to see if the bug has been fixed. None of the suggestions have worked for me and it would be great if this can be fixed sooner than later.
Best AnswerSame. I manually put my stride in and turned off automatic calculation, worked for a little, then stopped. Need a fix unless fitbit is like apple where stuff stops working so you buy the new model. Hope not. An update from fitbit would be nice

Best AnswerAnyone else notice of turning off stride length affected it tracking a swim? I've had my device a week now (android Pixel 8a) and my swims were being tracked automatically until I turned off stride length. It didn't track my swim yesterday, which was the first time swimming with that setting off. Not sure it had anything to do with it but thought I'd share.
PS - I turned stride length back on this am and distance stopped tracking again. Turned it off and now it is tracking distance again.
Best AnswerHappened with my 3y/o Inspire 2 on 21st. Morning jog GPS tracked as usual, and shortly after -- no more distance tracking, while steps are still being counted. Device restart didn't help.
Is this some sort of planned obsolescence shenenigan??
