Hello, wondering if you can help. My charge 5 stopped tracking kms. It records step counts but kms do not appear. Anything I should do to have this back to normal? Thanks, Sara

Just to add a detail to this - I switched to manual stride length then back to automatic (following instructions from higher in this thread). Switching over, syncing and switching back didn't fix the problem until I switched to manual stride length, took some steps until distance was logged, and - then- switched back to automatic. At that point, the distance logging continued. Initially, there was a blank in the space for walking stride length in the app. This was on a Charge 5.
I hope that little detail helps.
Did you resolve this issue? I am training for a backpacking trip and need miles to show. I’ve done all the troubleshooting to no avail

Best AnswerHello
Is that normal to live with this distance tracking failure?
someone need to update us as users
Best AnswerYou ‘solution’ dies not fix the problem. Please give us a timeframe so we know when to expect a solution. It has been going on for weeks now without a solution in the near future. And please do not delete my post this time.
Best AnswerMine is still like this. I have left on the “manual” setting as it doesn’t seem to pick up my walking stride, but picks up my running stride both manually and automatically.
Really hope this issue gets resolved soon.
It works when I set the running stride length to walking......i do a small test where i change automatic value and go for a short walk (gps=on)
Best AnswerNo effect with a short walk....0 cm walking stride length
So automatic walking exercise with gps on doesn't do what it should
Best AnswerI also had this issue start a few days ago after updating my sense 2. If I track an activity with GPS it seems somewhat better. But otherwise no distance is tracked, but steps and flights are. Hoping they will fix this soon.
Best AnswerThat isn't a "fix" it's a workaround. The problem needs to be fixed by the Fitbit team. Do we have an update on a proper resolution?
