Hello, wondering if you can help. My charge 5 stopped tracking kms. It records step counts but kms do not appear. Anything I should do to have this back to normal? Thanks, Sara

This would be helpful it it actually told you how to change your stride length - the article explains but doesn't tell you how. Useless
Charge 6 as it stands is hopeless.
Done a walk this morning 8.8km = 12,345 steps then it resets back to 1.7km 10,209 steps - its shocking that this has not been properly fixed its been going on for months.
Same, still not working here

Best AnswerI updated a couple of days ago and my Sense 2 still doesn’t work. So it seems like the update has helped some but hasn’t worked for many others 🙄 it’s been over a month since my tracker worked accurately.
Any help FitBit or update or anything besides crickets?!
I've noticed when I select Walk as my exercise the Sense2 tracks steps but not pace or distance for my walk. When I run my Sense2 does track mileage, steps and pace. It's very frustrating and makes me want to ditch Fitbit for another fitness tracker.
Same here. Seems like it's time to find another device.
Hi.
My miles are suddenly not adding up even though my steps, active minutes etc are? For example I have done 27,000 steps today but says only 5.2 miles done but that is usually 14 miles or so? Any help please?
Best AnswerThey really wanted you to buy a Google Pixel instead.....
I finally got my steps to start tracking again by just turning the auto stride length off. I don't even have anything in my walking stride. It's blank. And my running stride had already been set somehow. Anyway as soon as I turned "Set Automatically" to off, everything started working again. THIS IS NOT A FIX for this bug, but this workaround has been working for me for about the past 4 or 5 days.
Hi MK and any others reading this.
I have had the distance issue with my Versa 3 since 23rd July 2024. I spent at least 4 hours on multiple chats and trying fix’s none of which worked. Even if i manually enter a walking distance it will then duplicate the same over random previous days!
I very much doubt Fitbit are looking at fixing the problems and have given up with the brand and will now purchase a proper device following which i intend to make a scathing YT video of the brand and how poorly it treats its loyal customer base.
Same on my side - I already purchased a new watch, as watch without km tracking specially when I do lots of hiking and walk - crazy. But I keep following this forum topic out of curiosity just to see when Fitbit will fix this problem 😄
Best AnswerSo when will this issue been fixed? my distance have been stuck at exact 0,86 km for weeks now 😞
Thanks in advance
Best AnswerHi, is there a fix for this yet? I manually entered my stride distance to correct this going forward, but I missed weeks of mileage due to the error. I was told that the repair would be retrospective.
@Gazdog It depends a bit what you want to have. Especially the Charge 5 fits very good to fulfill my requirements. I personally want a simple tracker with standard features, a nice app which shows all sensors and additional info and calculations. I also like that the Fitbit Charge is very flexible and you can easily exchange the bands and find hundreds of alternatives in the web. Especially as I am wearing it as a second device on the right wrist as the left one is already occupied with an analog device. 🙂
For all the watches, I agree, there are better offers from other competitors. For the tracker I do not see any offer which is better, not even Garmin.
For me this whole story leads to the point that I decided to wait until Fitbit moved the Charge product into the Google world. I also think that Fitbit is slowly phased out by Google, the current case is a clear indication for this, in my opinion.
And to go back on topic: I manually added my stride length and since then it works. I noticed that at cycling the average speed is not calculated any more, I assume this still has to do with the wrong distance measurement.
Best AnswerSense 2 is not upgrade.....My first Sense broke in 2023 and i considered buying Sense 2 at time, but when you looked at what Google did to Fitbit even then--->Put their own Pixel product at the forefront and made Sense 2 worse than Sense 1
I decided to buy Sense 1 again. The only good thing about Google's Fitbit purchase is that Google Wallet is finally on every device
Best AnswerI have the same issue with Versa 4 ever since I moved my data to Google a few weeks back. No matter how many steps I do in a day even after I run 5k on the treadmill my distance stops counting after 4.2 km. This is super frustrating especially as it was working fine before. Any solves?
