Entered weight being changed by app

My scale only gives me weight in 2/10ths of a pound, so every weight I enter is an even number of tenths. After I've entered my weight (and double checked to ensure no typos) I will regularly go back into the weight section and see it 1/10th lower than what I entered. What's happening?

I'm purely speculating here, but guessing you are entering in imperial units and the system stores in in metric (or vice versa) and in the process of converting the value, rounding it off and storing it, and then converting it back to show you, sometimes it changes a shade in the last decimal place.

I've also noticed this as well, but the thing that gets me is that it hasn't always happened. It used to take my weights fine, and now they are always off. If I correct them enough times, sometimes it will keep what I want to put down. Also, it's not always 0.1 lb - sometimes it's 0.2 or 0.3.

Hello @sapphireorchid, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. It's also nice to see you around @Duudeman@SaltonFinneger and @that-guySmiley Happy

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. Our team is are aware of the problem and is working to resolve it as quickly as possible. In the meantime, please try to add decimals to your weight when logging it in. For example, if you type 55kg add [.00] at the end: 55.00kg as some members have mentioned this has helped them in the past.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this situation caused. I appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

Once again, thank you very much for reporting this, feel free to reply if there's anything else I can do for you. Smiley Wink

Just started having this problem today. I put in my weight with a decimal of .0, and the app changed it to one tenth of a pound less.

No... the problem is more serious. (I think since the last update!)

When I enter a weight on the Versa.... something changes it!

I enter 107 and next day it's 235??

(It also "cheers' when you exceed your goal weight... not what most people want to do! Ok for steps but not for pounds. )

Hi! I see these past posts were a few years back. It's July of 2023 and I am now experiencing this issue. Is there a fix I should be doing to correct it? Checked and my fitbit charge 4, my android phone and the app are all up to date.

When entering my weight, it subtracts 0.1 lb from the number I entered.

Thanks in advance.
