Hey @Refstar is great to see you on the Community! Yes, you may want to manually log an exercise when you want credit for a calorie-burning activity that isn't measurable by your tracker or if you have a tracker that doesn't automatically detect exercise. In certain scenarios, replacing an automatically detected exercise by manually logging it instead may improve your totals. So, you can delete that exercise and manually go it by:
1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Exercise tile. This is the tile that says “Track exercise,” or, if you already tracked an exercise today, shows the exercise type and information.
2. Tap the stopwatch icon in the top right corner and Tap Log.
3. Tap a recent activity or search for an exercise type.
4. Adjust the activity details and tap Add.
I hope this info helps you, let me know if you have any additional questions!

My wife and I are having exactly the same problem.
We walk every morning and have Surges. The walk calculates the time, steps, active minutes and calorie burnt correctly.
We do weights every day as well. Starting yesterday (29th March) for her and today (30th March) for me, our weights workouts do not track calories burnt correct at all, however the Fitbit dashboard shows the entry correctly.
Let me see if I can illustrate this properly. This is a screenshot of my phone with the weights workout shown. You can see that it properly recorded the time of the workout, the heart rate graph is correct, the calories burnt graph is correct, but the upper section that shows how many minutes is in what zone is entirely incorrect.
However, the following screenshot shows my Fitbit website dashboard, which shows the workout perfectly with the calories burnt shown.
So as you can see there is a huge discrepancy between what the website is displaying vs what the app is displaying. This is clearly the result of an error within the app, the tracker is working fine as the data is perfectly recorded on the website.

Welcome to this thread @Terridian and thanks for the screenshots.
Guys @Refstar, @Terridian my recommendation is to Force Quit the Fitbit app and after that Restart your tracker and finally, try to Set up your Surge as a new Fitbit Device.
Test your tracker and let me know.

Thanks for the reply @TarinFitbit.
I have tried these troubleshooting steps with no success on the historical data. I am unable to do a workout today so I will have to wait until tomorrow to see if it has resolved it for me.
My concern is that the app itself is not properly syncing data with the website. Surely, if the data is displayed correctly in one place, it should be correct in the other.
Can you shed any light on why the app would be different to the website when the data should be the same?

I have a similar issue, the information shown for an activity is different in the summary view to the detailed view when viewing it onine. I think it is a display issue and isn't every time.
However when i then view it on the mobile app it is completely wrong in the detailed view. I have only noticed this since the upgrade. It is really frustrating

Hey Everyone,
We are aware of this issue and we've released a fix late yesterday evening.
All your previously logged exercises should now show the correct exercise summary stats!
Please check against the web dashboard and if you still see discrepancies, please let us know!
Thanks,
Zhu
