Fitbit Update 9/19/16
This issue where users experience a red "(not synced)" error next to their exercise logs on the iOS App has been resolved with the release of iOS App version 2.27. Click here to update your App if you haven't already.
Thanks you for everybody's patience while we worked this one out!
Fitbit Update 5/23
There is currently a bug where some iOS users see a red "(not synced)" error next to some of their exercise logs. Our team is aware and currently working on fixing this bug. Apologies for any inconvenience that this creates.
Please do not uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App, uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit App could cause data loss. If possible, I would also recommend logging activities on Fitbit.com until a fix is available.

@rachelih92 I've merged your posts into this thread where Community members are talking about the same thing.
This is a known issue that our team is working to fix. In the meantime, please do not uninstall the Fitbit App, this could cause data loss for any data that is unsynced.
Also, any updates about this issue will be posted in my lead-in post for this thread.

I just downloaded a Fitbit app update on my iPhone. Those long hikes that wouldn't sync a couple of weeks ago still won't sync. Is there any hope? Will those exercises be "lost," or is it possible that they will actually sync? My regular walks--an hour or so, 4 1/2 miles--sync with no problem. It's my 2-5 hour, 5-10 mile exercises that refuse to sync...

The problem still exists...
It's been 2-3 months since it was first reported on the forums... When is the fix expected?

Also if I do log the activity on fitbit.com - it changes my step count... So it's doubled...

It's been MUCH longer - Things stopped syncing back in March and they still haven't fixed it.

@LgersibThe vivoactive HR. It does everything I want just doesn't have the waterproofness I'd like. I'm a SCUBA diver so I'd like one device to act as a watch, track HR, track activity including swimming laps, track sleep, and act as a back-up timer for SCUBA diving. Suunto has one coming out in September that is rated to 100m but the bettery life is only 26 hours and I'm not sure if it has HR.

I'm having the same issue, also iOS system - although I have a Charge HR. I hope the bug fix is soon. This has gone on long enough...
