Fitbit Update 9/19/16

This issue where users experience a red "(not synced)" error next to their exercise logs on the iOS App has been resolved with the release of iOS App version 2.27. Click here to update your App if you haven't already.

Thanks you for everybody's patience while we worked this one out!

Fitbit Update 5/23

There is currently a bug where some iOS users see a red "(not synced)" error next to some of their exercise logs. Our team is aware and currently working on fixing this bug. Apologies for any inconvenience that this creates.

Please do not uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit App, uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit App could cause data loss.  If possible, I would also recommend logging activities on Fitbit.com until a fix is available.

Never mind, apparently she sold it ages ago....

The only thing that she has kept for any length of time is her iPhone.......

I wish I'd seen this earlier, I've just lost loads of 5 mile + walks that refused to sync.

They should still be there as long as you do not log out of your account.

Hi
The syncing issue with tracking excercise was being addressed in May and it is still not fixed.... Any ETA on this???

Same problem here.

I started a new exercice from the iOS application. I went for cycling, but selected "run" as there is no option for cycling.

Exercice was 40km long.

In the end, I end up with two exercices:

 - 1) one was tagged as "run" and contain my GPS information. Only present in the iOS app. Marked as "not syncronised".

 - 2) the other one was tagged (automaticaly) "cycling" and contains some stats. Present in the Web App.

If I export the second one (tagged "cycling") as TCX, the resulting file is empty.

I have activated the official Strava Export Application. No activity was syncronised in Strava.

Can you please give us some update on this bug ?

Are you working on it ?

Thanks in advance for your support

I logged out of the app and lost walks that hadn't synched but at least with the update it is working now.

How owuld you know if it's working after you lost all of your unsynced walks?

Can confirm this worked for me. I logged out of the app today, losing my 20km hike from Saturday, ugh. But successfully synced my 19km "run" (using run to track bike ride) tonight!

Seems to be working for me. Starting exercise tracking with the app, left the Charge alone. The GPS track & heart rate info synced up as one activity when done.

Having earlier thought the problem had gone away I realise now it's more likely the Southern Hemisphere winter just meant I was outdoors less and so logging fewer walks of unsyncable lengths. This weekend proved the issue is still not resolved. It's been months. I notice Fitbit reps no longer chime in on this thread, or any of the many others in this forum on the same topic. Surely this feature is core business - it wipes out two or three bullet points on the App Store sales blurb - yet it remains unresolved after months. Maddening. What is going on?

I agree that it worked ok for a couple of weeks and this weekend it is not syncing again!
Why can't the FitBit engineers fix this?

This is just ridiculous that all of us people that have fit bits exercise will not sink and the fit bit representative has not commented on the problem or engineers have not fixed the problem which is crap just to be frank! We have all paid good money to fit bit corporation and I am very unhappy with that product at this time and the lack of communication.

In answer, it is one and the same problem. The tracked exercise won't sync and the activity stats won't load. The map appears but the stats don't load. I did already uninstall and reinstall as recommend in another forum. It seems I have now lost my 13.13 mile walk giving me 334 flights. As you can imagine we are relying on you I.e Fitbit to be able to provide a service and is most disheartening when you have achieved an exercise success and then the result is not there to be seen. I endorse previous comments in this thread. What can be done to compensate please and what assurances do we have for the future. I am due to undertake a 15 mile walk at the weekend and want to be assured that once achieved it shall most certainly sync.

There is no answer people. It is time to switch companies if you want to truly enjoy a products complete potential. Waiting around for FitBit to start syncing correctly is a practice of pure frustration. Someone said it best. Might as well use free app like map my run or run keeper. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. Spent 300 bucks on 2 now they will be put in a drawer. Boo hoo
