The recording of my exercise has gone crazy.  This screen shot shows the same session but an hour apart.

When I  finished the session and looked at the dashboard it show correctly the map of my walk but no stats. I normally see the time for each km.

one of these entries has the steps etc the other doesn't

Sorry Lizzy.  I’m running this newest version and you still get the “not enough data” error on manually entered activities. There was a small update just before this that fixed it then this one broke it again.  I’ve deleted and re-added the activity, just as I did with the previous fix and it won’t pull this data in.

The Apple Watch is looking really good since it will do so much more plus what my Fitbit used to do.

This morning I installed the update that just came out. Although my sample size is just one trip, it did seem to be back to logging run / walks correctly.

To be honest I am not sure how to see which version of update I have (does them automatically), but just came back from the gym, input my data manually today and the cardio and all of the information is back!!!!! Could this really be finally fixed???? Crossing fingers......

Mine seems fixed after the update this morning as well. Thanks Fitbit!

@lennienoiles what do you see in place of the graph on your exercise screen?

@Fyrfyter, @Arboga, @Ladywing sorry to hear this, can you log out/log back in/uninstall/reinstall the app and see if that helps.

@KateFitbit Nothing. When tracking a run with the app the app used to show the Times in Heart Rate zones, average HR / bpm for the exercise, and a graph of the HR for the duration of the exercise. Now all info about the heart rate is just not there. HR data does exist on the home screen and shows the entire day.

If I use the device to track exercise instead of the app HR data shows up. But then I lose the convince of the App GPS map, and music control.

@KateFitbit I've done this several times. None have fixed the HR problem. I was hoping the most recent update would have fixed this. This issue goes back to an update around Aug 25 (that's when the data stoped tracking). There are several posts from users about it.

I’m also using the latest version and I get either the heart rate if I track on the tracker (which isn’t working either but that’s a different thread) or map if I do the phone but not both. And my distance isn’t recording for runs correctly. This update DID NOT fix the issues!!!

I did both of those and it made no difference.

It is now March 12th and the app is still not recording manually entered exercise correctly. When is the "update" supposed to happen for everyone?

I have been having the same issues. And now my app won’t let me look at my exercise info at all. I had to login on my laptop.

Hi everyone.

Thanks to all of you for keeping us updated about this situation and for trying to uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit app as a last resort. I understand your concern about the Fitbit app not showing your exercise data correctly after updating to 3.16.1 version. Your posts have been escalated to our team so they can further investigate and bring a fix to all our affected users.

Once again, I truly appreciate your patience and I'll update this thread once I have more details from the team.

See you around.

Well, I lied before.  I said my last post was probably my first and last post.  Well, this one will be my last post, promise.

I gave up on Fitbit fixing these issues.  The heart rate not being logged in the Fitbit app began in July of 2019 and the "not enough data available" problem has also been going on for too long.

So, yesterday I did it. I bought an Apple Watch!  Took it for my first run today (8 miles) and I loved it!  It worked like a charm, the display was awesome and the record of my run had all the stats I wanted. plus more.  Thank you, Fitbit for pushing me into the embrace of an Apple Watch.

Bye.
