Fit bit app data does not match tracker data

My Fitbit Charge 3 tracker shows that I have reached all 12 of my hourly goals for the day. However my app shows that I have only met the last 6 hours goals. I have deleted and restarted the app twice, rebooted the tracker, and reconnected it. Nothing seems to fix it. This also happens last Saturday. I once again made all 12 hours goal but the app said I only met 1 of the 12. This means my weekly data will be incorrect.

any ideas? My app updated a month ago. Maybe it is a bug in the app update?

Known issue with the Fitbit app, I'm not sure if it has been resolved but this solution has worked for some.
