Bought a FitBit HR today and cannot sync with my Macbook running macOS 10.12.2 tried numerous time to sync and refused to sync. Made sure Bluetooth is on, restarted numerous times and still fails to sync, can someoen give me direction on what this issue is or how to resolve it, before I got back to get a refund.

Hello @Macmanjimmy, it's nice to see new faces around the Community! Smiley Happy

Have you tried restating your Charge HR lately? If so, I would like to suggest uninstalling and reinstalling Fitbit Connect on your computer and try to sync one more time.

To uninstall/reinstall Fitbit Connect:

  1. Go to the Applications folder on your computer and locate Fitbit Connect.
  2. Drag it to the Thrash can, open the Recycle bin and remove everything in it.
  3. Restart your computer.
  4. Download and install Fitbit Connect one more time.

Give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

@Macmanjimmy Have you tried force syncing your Charge HR with the sync dongle plugged into your USB drive?

If you are having trouble with syncing your Charge HR using your Macbook's native Bluetooth, syncing your tracker using the dongle should help.

Also, is your Charge HR Bluetooth bonded to a mobile device (required for features like receiving call notifications)? If so, I'd recommend the tips mentioned here.

Hope this helps.
