Hi, since the Fitbit App for iPad updated a few days ago it no longer shows daily heart rate, just tells me to wear my device which I am doing, my average daily heart rate is being calculated as well as activity minutes so heart rate must be being recorded just not shown in the updated App.

Yes, I have done this multiple times. I’ve even deleted the app and reloaded.

I’ve stopped wearing mine. First time in 8 years.
So fed up of Fitbit for ignoring this issue.

I don’t want my clock permanently on 24hr time, so please use this information to help you resolve the issue so that we can put our phones back to 12 hour time.

This fixed the issue for me, thank you. I can see how the software would create this issue but it seems like pretty sloppy coding to have not tested the feature on 12 and 24 hour clocks

Absolutely, hope it gets permanently fixed soon and I can go back to the 12 hour clock!

Hi! You can go back to am/pm mode after one time switching to 24hrs mode, it should work, for me it works (charge 6/ios)

As I posted a week ago the switch to 24 hour clock on my IPhone worked immediately for me and shortly after I was able to go back to 12 hours. Unfortunately twice in the last few days  the daily graph on my Versa 4 has been blank again and if I scroll back over previous days the graphs each appear for a few seconds before permanently disappearing. Again switching the clock to 24 hours restores the daily HR graphs.
There still appears to be an issue between the 12 hour clock and the Fitbit app even when this ‘fix’ seems to have rectified the problem.

I have spoken (on phone) to someone from Customer Service and had multiple email responses. They assure me that they are now onto it and will keep me informed.
Watch this space.
At least they have now acknowledged it.

It worked for me too but seeing as I hate 24-hour format, I changed back to 12-hour format and it still seems to be tracking my heart rate. It might disappear tonight when it starts a new day at midnight but I’m hoping it won’t. Fingers crossed! Thank you!

Unfortunately heart rate graph disappeared again once it passed midnight. Force-shutdown the app, changed my time back to 24-hour, went back into the app and it’s back again. Changed my time format to 12-hour again and the heart rate graph is still there so will obviously have to do this every morning until Fitbit get their finger out and fix the glitch… if that ever happens 🙄

It’s been 3 weeks now. Any sign of this issue being resolved?

Best Answer

I’ve had the same issue for several weeks now. I’ve tried the ‘best answer’ changing to 24 hr clock but it didn’t work.
Fitbit do no more than acknowledge it’s an issue and say it has been escalated. But no solution. Very frustrating. 😬

Sad to hear this.

I’ve changed to 24hr clock, then reinstalled an app and made a reboot for my Charge 6 (last one I think doesn’t make sense) All visual charts of HR are available after, moreover, I’ve turned back my Charge 6 to 12hrs. Still everything is ok.

Well I'm amazed. I have been suffering with the same issue using an iPhone SE 2nd addition. I had my iPhone on 12 hrs clock and just force quit the Fitbit App, went into setting on my iPhone and then swapped to 24 hour clock. Reopened the Fitbit app and swiped down to resynced with my watch (a Sense) and all of the data is magically now being shown. Thanks for the help and advise. Really didn't think that was going to work but it did

Woah!
Although I tried it previously, I’ve just done it again as you described and the graph is back 😵💫😵💫😳😳

I still wish they’d sort it out though, as I don’t like the time on my phone being in 24-hour format 😭
