My Fitbit charge HR begins to sync, gets halfway through, then stops syncing. I've turned off blue tooth, rebooted my phone.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks for taking a break from stepping to visit the Community @Aurora627. Thank you for your efforts while trying to resolve this issue before contacting us. Please be so kind to try these troubleshooting steps to resolve syncing issues. You can also uninstall and reinstall the app to see if it does the trick. If none of this works, it could be a good idea updating your Charge HR firmware version. Hope this helps.

I have tried all of these methods plus the ones located in the troublueshooting section for ios.  Still no luck.  Synch only gets halfway there.  What next?

I'm having the exact same issue. It will begin to sync then it stops halfway. I also went through all the steps of troubleshooting. It's pretty annoying that you put in the steps and the app won't log them in. It's been over a week of trying to troubleshoot this problem. Please help

Same here. Bought it in August and worked fine until s few weeks ago. I have tried all of the suggestions and it is still doing the 'halfway, never ending' sync thing. Do I need to have it replaced? I have been trying all of the suggestions people have been posting for the last 3 weeks. It is crazy. Some people are also having problems with their clock, which I am not. It just will not sync at all no matter what I do. I have an iPhone 6.

I had the same problem in early December. I fixed it by removing my Fitbit device from my phone and then rematching it like it was a brand new device. It worked!

I'm somewhat relieved to read all these comments. I've also been having issues for over a month. Got my Charge HR in the Spring and had no issues up until a little over a month ago then it was as described here - clock wasn't correct, it would start to sync and only go halfway and stop on my iPhone, if I tried syncing with the dongle and my computer it would say "tracker connection lost" but then it did in fact sync. It drove me crazy. I did multiple resets, rebooted the phone, deleted and reinstalled apps, turned bluetooth off and back on and nothing worked. Contacted customer service and they had me try things and nothing worked, they sent me a new one because it was within the warranty period, and the new one is also doing this. It was fine for a few days but it's now doing everything that the other was doing. It's extremely frustrating. I'm in challenges with friends and it's a pain to get it to sync. This needs to be fixed soon.

Gosh, Irishmama2, I'm on the same path resulting in frustration.  Since so many posts have had the time and syncing problem and tried all the options recommended complete with a replacement fitbit, you are absolutely right, this needs to be fixed!  I'm wondering if it's an iPhone 6 problem.

I think it's a software update problem, whether it's the iPhone 6 or the Fitbit, I'm not sure. I've had the iPhone the entire time I've had the Charge HR and it was working perfectly up until a month or so ago. So I don't think it's necessarily the iPhone 6 itself, but it's something. It's frustrating.

I'm having the same issue with mine 😞 I'm thinking it must be an iPhone 6 compatibility issue, especially since there was a recent update with iOS. I happened to let my Charge HR die before all this happened...wonder if that's playing a role. Not sure what to do at this point!

I am having the same problem.  It will sync today's information but stops short of syncing yesterday's and prior days.  I am using a Charge HR with an iPhone 6 with iOS 9.2.  I have had this combination of equipment for several months with no problems until the last few days.  It is currently Jan 4, 2016.  Any solutions are more than welcome.  I have tried most of the suggestions on the community board but none have worked so far.

Mine was doing the same thing for my Iphone. It last synced on 1/3/15 and will not sync again. It goes about halfway then just tells me when it was last synced.

Here's what to do:

Go to your account on your iphone on your fitbit app

Scroll to the bottom where it says remove this charge HR and click it

Click add a new device and re connect your charge HR

Voila! It worked for me!

Oh no!  I did these steps and now it just says 'finishing up' endlessly like before with the 'syncing'.  😞

That did it for me too. I feel like I have to do this once per month. Sent from iPhone

Like so many other posts I've read - all suggestions have been tried and my Charge HR is still not up to par. Since there are so many who have posted with the same issues ~  What is the Fitbit organization/company doing to resolve these problems?  Even after following the directions for trouble shooting, posting questions, these are still not resolved!

1. Time is inaccurate

2. No longer syncing

I've enjoyed the weekly and weekend challenges with friends and family.  We all have Charge HR bands and mine is NOT working so I'm unable to participate.  What a great way to start the New Year!!  (NOT)

I've done all the things you recomment, EdsonFitbit.  My Fitbit is still not performing correctily.  I'd like a REAL solution.

What kind of a 'brand new device' did you use.  Something other than Fitbit?
