With the recent update, my first generation Versa takes longer to sync and the app just doesn’t work- I’m not getting sleep scores, I can’t view any of my information.

Hi everyone - We apologize again for this and are currently working on a fix. Can you help us understand a bit more about the app crash:

- When does the app crash? Is it crashing when you view the sleep history screen (the screen displayed after tapping the sleep tile on the home screen) And not the sleep details screen which is shown after tapping on an individual sleep log
- Are you a Premium subscriber?
- Are you using an iPad?

Thanks, this will help our team with the resolution.

iPad Mini 4, not a premium subscriber. App crashes when I click “Syncing” or “Battery” to go to next page to set alarms.

Same thing happens to me on my Ipad

The app constantly switches from syncing to looking then when I touch looking it pops out

I have tried  everything from rebooting my Ipad then going back into the app no change

I don’t know what to do

Not a premium subscriber, don't own an Ipad. Using I phone, and happens when I try to get sleep details. It's very slow about going to the next screen when I tap on the sleep tile, then locks up when I ask for details.

I am using Iphone 10, IOS 14.4. I guess I don't know how to un-install it out of my library on the phone. All I can do is take off my page. It stays in the library.. It still freezes no matter what I do.

So much for testing updates huh

I’m using the iOS app on my iPhone, with a Versa 2. I’m not a premium subscriber. Mine freezes when I tap the sleep tile. It goes into the main sleep screen but won’t do anything after that. I think all the other features are working properly, it’s just the sleep section that’s wonky for me.

My Charge 2 simply quit lighting up when I tapped it this morning.  I thought it need to be charged, but that changed nothing.  One of the lights (not 2) on the back does flash rapidly when it is hooked to the charger, but not other response.

I reported this to Fitbit Support in Twitter.  My IPad Air Pro Fitbit App crashes when attempting to get my Charge2 data under “Account”.  It takes me right to IPad Home Screen.  I tried clearing cache, logging out of Fitbit App, deleting Fitbit App, rebooting IPad, reinstalling Fitbit App, relogging into Fitbit App.  It still does not work.  Fitbit Support is aware of the issue and working on a resolution.  I am not a Premium subscriber, IPad software is up to date with iPadOS 14.4.

Any progress on a fix?

No

Guess as a last resort I will uninstall and reinstall app and hope that works

Don’t know what else to do

Did everything that Fitbit support stated to do to troubleshoot and app sees my flex2 band but it is constantly looking and btw if I touch it while it’s looking to try to get to the alarm page it closes completely

Hope that works for you but it didn’t for me. I uninstalled, reinstalled, logged out and back in, rebooted iPad, made sure Fitbit app and IOS were up to date and the app still crashes when I try to go to page to Set Alarm or Battery. Goes from syncing to looking also. Frustrating.

I’m using an iPhone, not a Premium subscriber.

The app crashes when I hit the Sleep category. It takes me to the Sleep screen, and then it freezes and ultimately crashes. The Sleep numbers don’t appear on the Sleep screen, either.

I tried all the other categories, and they all worked. For me, it’s just the Sleep screen.

Guess  my last resort is to uninstall and reinstall the app and hopefully I won’t loss my data

Using an iPhone 11 running iOS 14.3.
Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling app.

Fitbit device is a Charge 3.

Since the update, the app is slow in general, but the real issue is it locks up when I click to go to the sleep detail page. That page loads, but then my iPhone freezes, and I must force quit the app.

IOS 14.4 ipad pro 2018.

I tried to change the clock face on my Charge3 (the one I had been using is impossible to see outside with any sunlight).  I can get to the screen where I cab select my Charge 3... but when I do, the program crashes.  I have deleted and downloaded the latest version from the App store. Even tried setting up a new device but no luck.     I can get to work on my old iPhone 6s with an older IOS.   Fitbit help chat went through there cheat sheet replies and then told me it is an Apple problem and to just use the old phone( which I hardly ever have on anymore)

This post is in response to @KateFitbit request for more information from users:

The app was working fine on my iPhone 8+ prior to the 3.39 update. Now it isn’t. The app is behaving inconsistently across all metrics except sleep. For sleep (the primary reason I use a Fitbit over any other brand), the app freezes.

I do not currently use premium. As I have already used up my 3 month trial, I cannot afford the annual subscription.

If Fitbit would like me to provide more detailed information (that will take several hours to produce), I’m happy to do so for a 1-year subscription to premium.

Beyond this, the inconsistent problems with the app have rendered my Fitbit nearly useless and extremely unreliable except for the vibrating alarms that still work.

This post is in response to Fitbit calling this issue “answered”:

Unlike as presented at the top of this thread, this comment is not an answer. It is a request for additional information.

Thank you.

After going through the steps I previously received this week, my Fitbit app worked great for a day and then this morning my Versa and app would not sync. My husband has a Blaze (I think that is the name of it) and his also will not sync this morning as well. I also followed the steps to “forget device” on my iPhone 11 Pro, even restarted my Versa, and paired it again and it will still have trouble syncing. Sometimes it is synced and sometimes not.

I am on a iPad Pro and its OS is up to date.  I added my new watch yesterday the Sense  and could not get into settings for the sense on my iPad but could on my iPhone yesterday. As soon as I tried to go into the sense settings in fitbit app it crashes to desktop for lack of a better word / app closes. Today with my iphone open to the fitbit app I took my weight on our fitbit  scale and now the scale is not working removed it  and added it again. Add in my new sense did not log sleep last night when its set up to and today just everything  in the Fitbit app is acting wonky on my iphone and or my iPad.  I do not pay for Premium and am not signed up for the 6 month free as its to much a month in my area and not worth it.Everything in my Fitbit app worked correct on my iPad Pro until I added the Sense watch yesterday and now nothing is working correct. Click on Sense settings closes app no error and sleep log took a few hrs to show up and time is wrong said I got up at 8AM and I was up at 7AM 😂
