For some reason my iPhone is draining the battery really badly and the only thing that shows in the battery section of my iPhone is the Fitbit app with background activity. For some reason Fitbit is draining 60-70 precent of my battery for some reason. And the strange thing is that sometimes it drains really bad and sometimes it doesn't drain really bad overnight. I don't experience this drain during the day but seems to happen overnight for some reason. My phone is in the same room so I don't think disconnections is an issue. Why is it draining and how can I stop it from draining randomly.

Hi @e94904, it's nice to see you again in our Community Forums.
Thank you for sharing the details of the issue you’re experiencing. I understand your concern and would like to advise that Fitbit occasionally releases free feature enhancements and bug fixes for your device through firmware and Fitbit OS updates. If the Fitbit app runs in the background on your phone, it allows a small portion of the firmware update to download to your Fitbit device each time your device syncs. I recommend closing the Fitbit app so it's not running in the background in order to improve your phone's battery.
Let me know how it goes.

My charge 3 has only received one update and I already installed it. When I go and check for updates, it says I am on the latest version so I don't think that the battery is draining because of an update, I think it is draining because of something else in the app.

Thank you for your reply, @e94904.
I appreciate your efforts and the additional details. I would like to confirm if you have a Mobiletrack paired to your Fitbit account? MobileTrack lets you use the Fitbit app without a Fitbit device by using your phone's sensors to track basic activity data including steps, distance, and calories burned. For more information, see How do I use Fitbit MobileTrack? If you're not using this feature, you can try removing the MobileTrack from your Fitbit account to see if this helps: How do I remove a Fitbit device from my account?
Keep me posted on the outcome.
