Fitbit Update: 8/15

Hey all!

This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.

A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?

Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.

Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.

Fitbit Update: 8/6

Hey everyone!

Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.

We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app

Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.

Fitbit Update: 6/17

Hi Fitbit Family,

We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the App store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.

Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?

Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.

Fitbit Update: 5/22

Hi everyone!

We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?

We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.

Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!

Fitbit Update: 4/24

Hi everyone!

Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.

You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?

As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.

We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

Well, we do appreciate your hard work to make improvements.

But seen from here how many people clearly mentioned that they don’t like the look of new dashboard? At least please give us the option of NOT upgrade to the new dashboard, or we can choose different look of dashboard for the app?

Thanks again but please do take into consideration of our suggestions here.

That’s what everybody wants it’s simple enough for them to execute but it’s one way traffic. Their way or the highway, we have to put up and shut up . Looks like we’re stuck with it until we all change our devices. They simply just don’t listen

Thanks for the comments. But I think we have made it clear that it is not an improved experience as you indicted.
No one wants to scroll to see their stats which is what Fitbit is forcing on their users. I was not given an option my dashboard just changed. I would not have opted in by any means. It is clearly less user friendly.
I am also waiting for response, real response, to my questions! I’m tired of being told to provide the same information over and over again. I’ve requested a manager to contact me and yet nothing. Someone needs to personally reach out to me to discuss the issues.

My fitbit app I turned off the auto update in settings (i had the new update when i bought a new fitbit but I made a new account for that one) then I returned it and went back to my old fitbit and old account.  Then I added the charge to my old fitbit account that I purchased next.  For a month or two now there has been an arrow when I enter the account saying update waiting and I have click an arrow to download it.  I have not run the update ).  At some point I expect them to add something to functionality that may force me to update but until then i'm not.

You may want to return that before the statute limitations runs out on your functionality

Hello guys! It's a pleasure for me to continue providing assistance with your doubts regarding the new dashboard design release. My sincere apologies for the delay in responding.

I'll be around if anything else is needed. Your patience is appreciated.

Would be grateful to know how can I go back to the old look of dashboard .

REALLY DISLIKE the new design.

Sadly you cannot go back. If you read the Q&A they have it states that. Found it someplace on there. I know I want the old one as well. It’s not an improvement.

How do I get to the page where my clock faces and apps and notifications are, in the “new look”? I can’t find it!

Just click on your profile pic in the top left and then your tracker. There should then be a clock face option.

Yes I would definitely support your suggestion!

But I clicked into the suggestion link and it showed as "Status: Not currently planned " and I could not give my vote. Does this mean it was objected?

Rich you need to stop being a troll! Just because you work for Fitbit doesn’t give you the right to be a troll! If you cannot add value to the conversation then don’t. I personally am not going to listen to your comments anymore. If you continue I will report you to Fitbit!

It’s so ugly. The colors are not lively and unmotivating.

The old tiles look more inviting and user friendly. I miss that.

is there no option to have it back?

I couldn’t vote for it either. It appears to be a locked thread, at least it is for me
