Fitbit Update: 8/15

Hey all!

This week we released the option to opt-in to use the new dashboard to everyone. At this time, everyone should have received the option to opt-in already. If you didn't opt-in, we will transition everyone into the new dashboard in the coming weeks.

A reminder, after you've opted into the new design you cannot revert and go back to the old one. Read more about the new interface we've designed here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?

Make sure you're also on the latest version of the Fitbit app.

Thanks for your patience while we completely released the new interface to everyone. We hope you're enjoying the improvements that have been made and appreciate all the feedback.

Fitbit Update: 8/6

Hey everyone!

Thanks for all your feedback on the new dashboard design. We're still in the process of releasing it to all of our users. If you don't see it yet, you will have it pushed to you in the coming weeks! This has been a slow process for the past few months to ensure a smooth rollout.

We're currently on app version 3.3, so please make sure as always that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app

Once we've released this new dashboard to everyone, we will announce it in this thread.

Fitbit Update: 6/17

Hi Fitbit Family,

We are still rolling out our updated Fitbit app design to more users currently with v.2.95. Please make sure to update the Fitbit app by visiting the App store if you haven't already. If you don't see the new dashboard just yet, you will be receiving it at some point in the coming weeks.

Thanks so much for your patience throughout this rollout. To read more about this new dashboard experience, please check this article out: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?

Once this rollout is complete, we will let you all know in this thread.

Fitbit Update: 5/22

Hi everyone!

We’ve rolled out another phase of testing for the new app dashboard experience. If you’re one of the lucky people to see it before the full release, you can read more about it here: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?

We’ll continue to slowly release this to all Fitbit customers on iOS and Android. Once we receive more information on this, we’ll let you know.

Hope you’re all enjoying this new layout!

Fitbit Update: 4/24

Hi everyone!

Beginning today with app v2.92, we're excited to announce a new dashboard experience for the Fitbit app, currently by invitation only. If you are invited to opt-in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized.

You can read more about it in this help article: What's the new Fitbit app experience?

As with all our new dashboard updates, this is a progressive rollout. If you don't have an invitation or see the dashboard immediately, you will receive it later on.

We will update this thread with more information later, so stay tuned!

What a joke as you cannot vote not comment on the one that says bring back the old dashboard!! Stopping telling your user to do something that we cannot do. Or is Fitbit like other companies too big now to listen to their users. You know what happens then - you lose customers! We are the ones that pay your bills!

The new version of the dashboard is the worst version it is no longer a dashboard. As indicated by many users that it updated to the newer version without their consent and there is no way you can revert it back.

With Companies this day focusing more on user center design, FitBit is doing the exact opposite. I have to say that I regret saying to my colleagues that FitBit was the best app, it is indeed no longer the best or even close to be best now.

Again saying it out loud: The new Dashboard SUCKS, please allow us to revert back to the old one.

Hope someone is listening and trying to do the necessary changes.

Exactly I no longer purchase from a some companies unless absolutely no
other option because of previous issues with them not listening to their
customers as too interested in making money. Same with sponsorship,
donations, etc. Some of these organisations etc are no longer with us.
Voting with our actions works.

Please let us revert back to the previous dashboard.  If one creates a new account or logs into an old one the first thing that pops up is a screen asking whether or not you want to try the new dashboard.  It seems it's just an account setting that we can access.  Please let us access this setting or at least allow us to switch back by contacting customer support.

At least you were asked. I just opened mine one day and it was changed.

I really don’t like the new platform. Where is the silent alarm setting?  I don’t care to see the challenge status first. Can they be moved to the bottom?  For those who don’t have the new platform yet, enjoy it while you can.  This makes me want to switch to a different tracker.

@ufounddave On the main "today" tab of the dashboard, select your profile image at the top left of the screen, then select your fitbit. You will then be on the device settings where you'll find the alarms.

Thank you for the response!! I guess it'll take some time to learn to Navigate, now, if I could only move the challenge info to the bottom that would be awesome.

You can move them to the bottom but when you get a new challenge it moves to the top

I too now have the new app on a iPhone XR and now my Fitbit Blaze has stopped syncing with the phone. I have tried all the fixes, turn off/on bluetooth, unistall app and reinstall but to no avail.

Can anyone help please?

The new app interface is *terrible*...Won't sync, alarm is buried and keeps reminding me about how to get a better night's sleep (can't get the rest of the dashboard to sync, but that pops up super quickly...PLEASE go back to the previous interface...Am on my 4th fitbit device dating back years and years...Never even thought about looking at other brands/products, but if this is where the app performance stays, I will for sure be shopping competitors...

I've not even had the pleasure of your "terrible" experience. Mine quite simply no longer syncs. Wonder how long before I get a reply let alone a resolution to this. Awful.

Hmm, so you can. Clicking and holding on the three lines, then dragging after you get the haptic response. It would have been nice if the tutorial had shown that, wouldn't it?

Click on your logo in the top left, then select your tracker, then choose silent alarms.

Forums don't allow a message to be deleted, apparently. I see that the question had been asked and answered.

Yes, I know ..But compared to clicking on a button on the dashboard, that
is quite a pain any and ever time I want to set or make a change to an
alarm. Previous design was tons more convenient.
