Mine is doing the same thing. Seems to be an app update issue. Worked fine last night. Doesn’t work this morning. So frustrating they can’t get the right. Seems they had similar problems over the past couple of years.

Same issue. I have free'd up space, reinstalled, turned off bluetooth, restarted phone, restarted fitbit charge, did a little dance, and it's still doing the same thing.

Same here

i tried to uninstall and reinstall, restarted my phone

still can open

it just open and close in a sec

May I know is there any solution?

Same here! All working fine until this morning. Tried all the usual rebooting, reinstalling, but the app won't properly open.

Best Answer

Same. Crashes immediately upon open. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. Someone from fitbit kindly respond and advise.

I’m also having this issue, very annoying!

Since the iOS 3.76 update, my app crashes before it can launch. After ~ 5 minutes of continuous opening, it stayed open long enough to sync, but crashed right after. It is still crashing before it can load anything. Evidently the update was for “bug fixes and performance improvements” which it seems to have yielded the opposite result.

Removed the app, "forgot" my Sense in Bluetooth, rebooted my phone, reinstalled the app, crashes around the time the app asks for Bluetooth access, about 3 seconds into loading.

Me too! I came here to see if it was just me. I’ve been teetering between getting an Apple Watch and this might be my sign.

I’m having the same issue.

Me as well

Happening to me as well, as of this morning (2 March 2023). I have tried restarting my device, uninstalling the app and redownloading, and even uninstalling the app, restarting the device, and then redownloading the app. It crashes every single time (more than 15 attempts).

I am using iOS 16.3.1 on an iPhone 12 Pro with Fitbit app version 3.76.

Same both on IPhone and IPad   Turned off, rebooted .. still no luck.  Sounds like a global issue

This morning when I went to open the fitbit app it closed down on me straight away.
I’ve turned my phone on and off, deleted and reinstalled the app many times now and it still the same. It goes to open then just flashes out.

Ive also tried with WiFi and phone data

I am having the same issue as of this morning. my fitbit app on my iphone 12 (running latest iOS v 16.3.1) keeps crashing. It starts to load then disappears. It is the latest version of fitbit (according to the app store - v 3.76). I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting my sense 2 fitbit on bluetooth (and shutting it down and restarting). I have also turned off and on again the iphone several times and have also deleted and reinstated the fitbit app twice. Nothing seems to sort it. There is clearly a major bug in the app and, as of today, I can no longer load the fitbit app on my iphone and cannot therefore sync my sense 2 fitbit to my fitbit account. All very frustrating.

Same here, it’s like it’s force closing itself before it even has a chance to open.

I’ve been using Fitbit for years and been thinking about changing things up. So 🤷🏻‍:female_sign:

that was my initial response. Didn’t work for me 😕
