Fitbit app on iPhone crashing

i have a iPhone 13 Pro fully updated and fitbit ver 3.76. When i try to start the app if flashes and goes away.

Hi there, so my Fitbit app stopped syncing correctly for my sleep yesterday and today  crashed when opening on iPhone14. As recommended in other discussion threads,   I tried rebooting (multiple times), deleting and reloading the app (multiple times), and disconnecting Bluetooth.  I’m at a loss on what do do next.  Suggestions? All other apps on my iPhone are working correctly so assume this is a Fitbit app issue.  Thanks!

Same! I thought it was something I did. So I deleted app and reinstalled and it’s still doing… only now I’m not logged in because it won’t stay open long enough to log back in.

Same here.  My fitbit premium subscription renews at the end of the month and fitbit is seeming more and more like a sinking ship with every passing day.  😬 Looking at a Garmin or Apple watch.

When I turned Data back on it crashed but is working with WiFi only; I hope it's not a sneaky push for us to buy the Fitbit premium...lol. Even though the Fibit App crashes, it still tracked my sleep and movement; I saw that when I opened my Online profile.

I found a fix. 

tried phone restart, uninstalled app, no success.

I used airplane mode to keep app open, turned airplane mode off to log in. It took a few tries but now the app doesn’t crash.

How do you clear cookies on an app on your phone? I looked and I can’t find anything.

Same here, I’ve tried updating and turning my phone off and on, deleting and reinstalling an app..no luck.

As of this morning (2nd March 2023, UK) the iPhone app keeps crashing on launch. I launched it a couple of times to check the behaviour. 

I then force closed all running apps and rebooted my phone. When it restarted, I launched Fitbit and it didn’t fall over. In the app, I then tapped on my Charge 5 to check it had sync’d properly and the app seemed to freeze. I force closed it and relaunched it, at which point it immediately crashed. It now consistently crashes immediately on launching. I’ve retried closing all apps and restarting the phone, but all to no avail.

The app version is 3.76 but I’m it sure when it was installed as my apps are auto-updated.

I’d be grateful for any ideas or observations.

Clearly a major problem. The US is about to 'wake up' and along with it all the Fitbit developers and the US Fitbit users. It should get solved pretty quick when their cherished US customers start complaining....

Upon update IOS to 16.3.1,  Fitbit App crashes upon starting.    Removed app. Downloaded 3.76 from IOS app store, and no difference.
