As reported by many, App briefly starts then closes. Toggling Bluetooth, clearing app cache, deleting & reinstalling app etc. do not work. All of which leads me to believe it’s a Fitbit server issue. Unfortunately the Fitbit (automated?) response keeps peddling the same advice which assumes the fault lies with individual users/devices. I guess we’ll all have to wait until they sort it out…

Not only you. My app keeps crashing and I’ve restarted my phone, check to make sure the app was updated, and reinstalled the app. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

If you turn the iPhone to Flight Mode (I.e. cut off internet access) you can get the App to load and sync with your device. That suggests the error is probably server side at FitBit.
I found this article online Fitbit app crashing issue on iOS devices acknowledged, fix in the works (piunikaweb.com) . Seems fitbit has yet again done sort of failed App or tracker update and sent our devices into choas. Seems to be a regular occurance for Fit and Googles aquistion of them has just made things worse. This is likely to be the cause "iOS app version 3.76 is now available - 02/28/2023" (you will have to search to get here as fitbit won't allow the link to be posted)

I'm having the same issue with the iOS app. I tried rebooting my tablet which worked for a little bit, until it stopped working again which happened rather quickly. I'm using my android phone until this is resolved. No problems with the android app.

I have the same problem. iOS 16.3.1 on iPhone 13Max. I have tried all the fixes here, but the app still crashes on opening.

How do I do that? Sorry.

I have the same problem with my Charge 4. I am running IOS 3.6.1 - at least the iPad version of that. I have restarted my iPad, deleted and reinstalled the Fitbit app and still the same problem - the app opens and then closes immediately. Fitbit/Google need to get on top of this.
o.k. I don’t know what is going on. I left my iPad for a few hours as I ran errands. Tried Fitbit again and Hey Presto! The app opened, data synced - it is behaving as if nothing had ever gone wrong.

Yea, I’m thinking this isn’t us… I’ve reinstalled twice, cleared memory, and shutdown and powered up three times.

I chatted with someone but they said they’d have to email me. Took forever to find someone and no help. Please report to Fitbit so they can help us all!

Mine is crashing too, I tried the same things- restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling and airplane mode this worked for a little bit but it’s crashing again now. I wonder whether the update hasn’t worked properly?

Agreed. Tried it all. No good. Just started this am. Worked fine yesterday. Must be an internal Fitbit issue 🤷🏼:male_sign:

Same here. And after I completed a long run. Hopefully fitbit fixes this soon.
