I am having the same problem. I tried all the same stuff and even looked for updates with no success

I have this issue too. Have tried deleting the app stopping starting BT and restarting my iPhone 13 mini but each time I try to sync my Charge 4 the app crashes. Very annoying!

I am having the same issue. I’ve tried all of the above and it still won’t open. I have an iPhone 11 and my app is up to date. Is there anything else I can do?

Same…

Restart and reinstall didn’t work for me either. App crashes as soon as I open it.

This has happened to me this morning. iPhone 7, up to date firmware, removed app, restart etc etc. app just crashes after a second????

me too. deleted app and re-installed. still no joy.

Likewise. Synced this morning OK but then clicked on notification about AFib and it loaded and crashed. Deleted it, switched off bluetooth, re-installed, NADA. Gets as far as the login screen (for a couple of milliseconds) then abends. Apple watch here I come. Btw, the app keeps telling me I have AFib, but nothing shows on the history.

I’m having the same issue, and when I go in on my ipad it’s not registering my sleep or any of my other health metrics. What’s going on?

App crashing too.  Powered off phone.  Deleted App.  Reinstalled.  Powered off phone.  Not working.

I could use some support too. App is crashing still after restart and reinstall.  Notifications hardly ever work either.

Happening to me all of a sudden. 14 Max Pro. I can open the app if I put the phone in AIRPLANE MODE but that does me no good. I'm assuming this could be something when the app connects to the fitbit servers. If the app was bad it wouldn't open in Airplane mode. Hopefully they figure it out.

I have the same problem. It started this morning.

Fitbit app crashes as soon as I try and open it after the latest iOS 16.3.1 update! Have tried all the usual rebooting, deleting the app etc and nothing is working - any suggestions Fitbit??

Best Answer

Nope.  Phone rebooted.  Even uninstalled fitbit app and reinstalled.  Fitbit app crashes.

Now it’s crashing on my ipad as well. This is after I did the update!

Same for me - iPhone 11.

Partial workaround:

  • switch off wifi and data (stop internet connectivity)
  • then it lets me open the app and sync watch via bluetooth
  • if you turn on wifi again it will let you use the app for a little while but if I go out and try go back in, it crashes immediately

looks like something in the app that syncs to the internet upon opening causes the crash

Same here.

Same here. iOs 16.2, I have apps set up to automatically update so I believe the Fitbit was updated overnight. I rebooted phone. Unistalled and re-installed the app. Still keeps crashing.
