Fitbit keeps vibrating after answering a call

Since I updated to the latest ios my fitbit continues to vibrate and notify me of an incoming call even after I have answered the call.

Is there a fix in place?

I updated to IOS 13.3.1 yesterday and suddenly I began receiving text messages an my Fitbit Charge again.  Step in the right direction albeit the fix coming from Apple instead of Fitbit.

My watch continue to vibrate when receiving a call until I press the left button even after answering the call.

This problem is still going on, it has been months  It has been months since someone from Fitbit even posted the copy paste response of “we are aware of this and are working on it.”
I have supported Fitbit for years, this is my third Fitbit. But it looks like I am following the trend of most of the other people on this thread and abandoning the Fitbit ship for a company that cares more about their user base and user experience.

At least after the latest IOS update my Text Messages have again started
coming to my watch again.   I've turned off phone call notification so
no longer getting the vibration that continues when getting a call.
Fitbit should be ashamed that we have to deactivate features because
they refuse to fix the problem.

My texts aren’t working. That’s what I would like to work!

Are you on Iphone?   If so upgrade your software to the latest IOS then
update App and finally reboot your watch and phone.

Mine has been working for about 2 weeks.

I just broke down and bought an Apple Watch....with my luck, they’ll probably end up resolving it within the week.

Hi There -

Has this issue been fixed as of February 2020?

To the best of my knowledge no. I gave up a long time ago and am now a happy Apple Watch user. I don’t think they are going to do anything about it. The blaze is discontinued and they don’t seem to care about existing owners.

Me too. So annoying and after all this time Fitbit haven't put it right so undermining my confidence in them going forward. Apple watch it is...

Hi Troy,

When you say yours has been “working for 2 weeks”, do you mean the issue has been fully resolved?

Or do you still have call notifications turned off?

Does the Apple watch monitor your sleep or does it need to charge overnight?

Apple watch doesn't monitor your sleep even if you wear if overnight. Apple
watch needs to be charged every day.

If you need to charge the Apple Watch every night and doesn’t monitor sleep
then it’s a poor substitute for the Fitbit. I think I’ll stay with Fitbit
and just turn off the phone ringer and keep the vibration mode on for
notifications.

Given the time that has past....I wonder if this an Apple problem. Intentionally done to sway consumers towards their product. We might be hearing news of a Fitbit lawsuit towards Apple, in the coming future.

This fix hasn’t worked for me either. Has there been a new update yet?

Not sure what device your using but when AOS 13.3.1 dropped my message alerts started working again. As I didn’t install an update from Fitbit appears problem was caused by Apple.

My watch continues to vibrate when I get a call and no ID so turned off that function.
